Cheats and Walkthroughs
We've been down with LA Noire since the game was announced over five years ago, and now that it's actually in stores, G4 has been enthralled with the game's haunting vibe and realistic take on crime-solving. But how does it stack up to real police work?
To find out, we played some LA Noire with Skip Bauchman, a detective with decades of experience in the LAPD, to get his take on how an LA Noire case compares with an actual police investigation. Check it out in the video below:

is it possible that in the 40's, that they didn't concern themselves with not touching the clues?

This vid has me pretty sold on the game, would have been a really good marketing ploy for the developers to setup.
I kind of expected it to not really follow real-world thinking as much as was shown here, the guy was pretty much calling it before the options appeared and the game was setup correctly for his choices to be 100% right (he missed 1 clue though :P).
Defintely on a must own eventually list, I just can't get it right now.

Game doesn't look that bad really. This is the first time I've seen gameplay and what a time to see it with a real detective. The main thing that turned me off was the no online free roam...I am a huge multiplayer guy but there are those exceptions, this looks like one of those exceptions.

Always interesting to see games that try to replicate real life eras and situations get critiqued by people who are in that profession.
He could of toned down that whole "see now we wouldn't do that nowadays" stuff, after all this is a 1947 detective game, not a 2011 detective game. But overall its good to hear the game is quite accurate of that era.
