The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings developed by CD Projekt RED is an epic, dark, fantasy role playing game masterpiece. Everything about the PC exclusive's stunning graphics, well-written story, and completely revamped combat truly blew us away.
"The “written for adults” approach to the material is refreshing, and it’s an all-too-rare treat to interact with characters who are neither cackling monsters nor squeaky clean saints. Even the “good guys” have glaring flaws and dark sides, and even your most bitter adversaries have reasons for their behavior beyond “the plot needed an antagonist here.” Many of the decisions you’ll make over the course of the game are exceedingly tough, as there is often no obvious “right” answer. They’re judgment calls and ink blot tests, not a question of whether you’d rather strangle a puppy or rescue an orphan."

Who cares, they dissed the console gamers by not releasing White Wolf, then don't release this either, wow.

I just love it and i think that every pc gamer should buy The witcher 2. This game is a real piece of art.

its weird, i knew the first witcher was a critically acclaimed game at the time, but still went under the radar for me. Having seen some reviews and gameplay for this one though I'm itching to play it more than LA Noire, which I was planning on picking up next. Something about this game just says "Its a classic RPG that you've never played before," and need to get my teeth in its imaginative juices. The grittiness seems fresh and intriguing and the world i'm just waiting to get lost in.

@godzillaisyourdaddy ...I totally agree!
I have never played a game that draws me in like the the witcher 2 did. I played through the first one just before this came out and it impressed me and made me want to know what happened next. So... bought The Witcher 2 and was immediately blown away!
This game has now solidified a place in my heart right next to Uncharted Series, The Elder Scrolls, and Demons Souls.

This is the game that Dragon Age 2 should have been. I bought DA2 thinking it was a good game, despite its mediocre design, but that negativity was only solidified when The Witcher 2 came out. This game blew me away for how amazing it is in every way: combat, story, character interaction, the morality is grey instead of white and black, which is a typical RPG, and best of all, the decisions actually mean something, unlike DA 2 where the decisions made do not do crap for the game in the scale of The Witcher 2.
BioWare should study what makes this game a gem among the action RPGs and attempt to top it, since DA 2 was such a major let down, considering how much they dumbed the game down, which is their idiotic comprehension of the word "streamlined." After all, they took away your freedom of race, and class combinations! What happened to the dual wielding warrior? The battlemage? The rogue actually being something rather than sword fodder? Just a completely disappointing game in every way. Anyway, The Witcher 2 is awesome and a must buy for every PC gamer out there that wants to show off they power house computers, are in love with The Witcher lore, or just love challenging action RPGs in general. A well deserved 5/5.
