Microsoft Kinect Priced, New Bundle And 360 SKU Announced

CheapyD at CheapAssGamer.com scours both the online and offline world for the best deals on video games, and to help out your wallets, we're bringing his weekly recap to you!

Best Buy is throwing a free $50 gift card with the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect console bundle.

GameStop has a similar deal with free $50 gift card with the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect bundle.

Kmart drops Enslaved to $14.99, Splatterhouse to $19.99, and includes a $15 gaming coupon with Dirt 3, a $60 coupon with the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle, and a $25 coupon with the Kinect sensor.

Target includes a $60 gift card with a PS3 160GB console purchase and lowers NASCAR 2011, Shift 2, Bulletstorm, Dead Space 2, and Crysis 2 to $39.99.

Toys R Us offers up a free $50 gift card when you buy Mortal Kombat and Fear 3.

Amazon has matched the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Bundle + $50 credit deal.

Typical od DPsx7 he doesn't even read the article.

Had he read the article he would have seen "that crap" includes a $60 gift card on a PS3.

They're digging a little deeper on the PS3 discount to try and boost sales.

Lol, they can't even give that crap away. With all the discounts on Kinect it's becoming another case of 'get what you pay for'. Too bad they forgot to include buttons and good games.

And Cheapy is still a fanboy. The 360 breaks too much, go find some better deals for the PS3 and Wii that people actually want.

I like that Fear 3 and Mortal Kombat deal.. Fear is not released for another month and yet if you can buy it with Mortal Kombat you get 50.00..

BOOYA try and get 50.00 out of ToysRUs on this one

I'm still waiting to buy Castlevania:LOS and Fable 3 for $20... any day now.

and shoudn't SOCOM4 and DC Universe cost around $20 at this point? I want those games too.

I also want Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Two Worlds 2, and Dragon Age 2. Crap that's a lot of 2's. It will probably be another year before I can buy any of those four games. In today's economy, no way am I spending over $25 on a game.

Okay, I'm going to say this now, because it's been bothering me since the E3 when Kinect was introduced. WHAT THE HECK IS THE BIG DEAL WITH IT?!?
For any of you people who are PS2'ers, remember the eye-toy?!? Chew on that. Think about it.
Personally, I feel that the Kinect is just a glorified Eye-Toy. Heck, I still have an Eye-toy, and still play with it!!!! I just don't see the hype behind this product...I have played it, and I just can't wrap my head around it. I enjoy the nostalgic feeling of playing the ET more than Kinect.

Earlier this week Kinect was about to surpass 10,000,000

Move was at 4,000,000, almost half of which were bought for the same console.
