Dragon Age 2

Dragon Age 3 is in development and it was confirmed via hashtag. BioWare's senior creative director Alistair McNally tweeted they were already looking for people to join the team, "I'm looking for exceptional environment artists to join me at #BioWare Edmonton, Canada to work on #DragonAge3 #gamejobs #jobs #3D #artists"

I doubt anyone is surprised another Dragon Age game is in development. As a connoisseur of social media I have to say, I aprreciate the excessive use of hashtags.

Are you ready for more Dragon Age?

Love the series, but I have to agree, take the time so there are fewer to no glitches,or hickups. And for the love of please bring back the choice of races and backgrounds, it makes the game play more fun. It would also be nice to import characters from the past games too, not just the story line. Bringing in Alistor, or some of the other characters for more than a minute to would be great too. Bioware should should take a note or 2 from the creators of the new elder scrolls; skyram for programming the game.

I hope that they seriously combine the elements of DA1 and DA2 together I believe this would seriously make for an amazing all aroun rpg game. because even though i apprectiated the new renovated style of fightiing i will disapointed with the crappy story line and how we NEVER LEFT KIRKWALL!! that factor was annoying. i'm not giving up all hope yet. so i cna't wait to see what will be next in DA3

I hope this one is better than 2, I hope that they return back to duel wielding and add some of the lost classes. I wish that perhaps this one takes place in other locations besides one stinking city. Also, I liked the silent protagonist from DA:O, it enabled me link myself to the character. Please bioware.

After some thought I do have one positive thing to say about Dragon Age 2:

First of all, in Dragon Age Origins, the hardest level (I think it was called nightmare) was a joke. Once you got some decent gear and the hang of it, it was super easy. I played my first Dragon Age Origins character on the hardest level as a mage and I got so bored that I stopped and re-created a Rogue. The mage would go to a room, cast blizzard then temepest and create storm of the century (with spell might already pre-casted as a continual spell), step out of the room, close the door and put a glyph of repulsion at the door and watch ALL the enemies die. The one or two that actually made it to be fought, were mostly hurt and damaged and I had my other 3 peeps kill them off. With the mage, I would enter a room and rinse and repeat every single time. The rogue was a challenge until he got these super daggers with paralize on them. But, at least he was not overpowered as much as that mage (and I picked a noble dwarf that actually understood why he was backstabed and befriended his brother when he went back to the dwarf city).

Then we have Dragon Age 2, the hardest level is difficult. OMG any time there is an assassin or thief or some type of backstabber with daggers the encounter is wildly too hard. Half the time it is luck that I win. The few encounters that have two assassins or two backstabbers 9that can stealth up) makes the encounter extremely hard. I ENJOY IT. Every so often a few random mobs and a spell casting mobs can make me re-load.

The difficulty on Dragon Age 2 seemed much harder and better!

If they keep ANYTHING from Dragon Age 2, I hope they keep the difficulty and throw away the map designers and make better maps (more variety and better characters). We want the NEXT ALISTAR. Let us be real, Dragon Age Origins would have been boring if it was not for those specific characters. Alistar, Morrigan, and Lelliana were the true fame and the true glory of Dragon Age Origins. Who did not want to befriend Alistar, even as a guy. As a woman, I hear, he is the natural choice. After all, minus the hair and the muscles, and the face, he is me :)-

I know, I already ranted. However, Dragon Age Origins was enjoyable. The expansion and DLC were pretty decent - considering all things. Then we have Dragon Age 2, and ... I hope SWTOR is more like DA:O than DA2.

First off this so called "dragon age 2" you speak of hardly exists.
It's more like "Dragon age: the champion of Kirkwall"

Secondly- I just hope this next title release will live up to it's potential that we all had a glimpse of in the first one.

I love the Dragon Age Series. Each game had a different feel as the first was more like a traditional RPG and the second had a feel of a hack slash with RPG elements and it improved on parts for the first game. As long as they put time in to the development of the game and making sure there is a good story line and can be resolved in several different ways, I;m definitely in.

I'm hoping they put a bit more game into DA3. I Liked playing DA2, don't get me wrong, but it felt more like DLC content than a full game. I'm certainly hoping that Bioware is going somewhere with it.

Come on bioware you're better than coasting off of sequels! Mass Effect was one thing as they announced it was a trilogy right off the bat (not to mention both the games so far have been great, but I'll acknowledge that that is a weak argument as many great games haven't gotten sequels and terrible games have gotten sequels).

i loved dragon age origins and mass effect , then the mass effect happened with mass effect 2 and it became more 3ps then rpg i still loved it , it was just not mass effect so it evolved,

then bioware mass effect 2ed dragon age 2 which wasn't a bad thing it became more hack n slash then rpg , so they say they changed for mass effect 3 and added more rpg elements.

so i have no doubt we will say when mass effect 3 comes out we will say it was mass effect 3ed and so will dragon age 3 be dubbed.

i just hope dragon age 3 has more environments and distinct fighting areas then part 2 did. i am very hopefull for dragon age 2 dlc! asweel as mass effect 3 and dragon age 3.

I loved DAO and still play it all the time. I'm playing through DA2 multiple times just to see the different conversations and endings, but its taking a lot longer on the 2nd go around because it doesnt have the replay value that almost every other Bioware game has to me. I feel as though the story was split between multiple people and they did what they pleased only to throw it all together in the end. Act I and II seem to be the only two with direct connection. (not trying to spoil, just in case) But the random fighting with the groups in Acts I & II that are the antagonists in Act III seems spur of the moment. I know Bioware could have stepped it up for this title. All I hope is that they put everything into DA3. I've been playing Bioware for years and I wont let this one game ruin it, but it did leave a taste in my mouth I wont forget.

Loved the 1st Dragon Age, The 2nd one not so much. In my opinion, It sucked. Agree with everyone else who hopes they take there time on this one and get it right, But I`m leary. Maybe that will change in time as more details are released.

I did finally got to end DA2 this passing weekend only do to the miner site back of the environments. The Most Fun in DA2 i had was power-LV my char to max Lv with the cheat in game Only in order to TROLL pass the same landscape 100x over. i don't knot BioWare for their poor release for a Epic game but Next time do try Harder to please your fans and not your employees. Stick to your Guns you done it not once not twice But over and over again with KICKASS TITLES need i name them >.<. i say it like my Mother used to tell me when i was a boy (DO IT AGAIN AND I WILL DROP YOU LIKE A HOT POTATO BOY)

I felt DA2 was a huge step backward from DAO. For a PC the combat was terrible as with no tab-targeting I was constantly pausing, target, unpause, repeat. Not to mention that nearly the entire game taking place in Kirkwall seemed rather lame, especially from a Bioware game.

I got burned with the DA2 preorder, played it through once and no desire to play again. So I'll be waiting til DA3 comes out and drops in price after a few months. Sorry Bioware, I love your games but the Dragon Age hasn't been your strongest IP. Now if only they'd make Jade Empire 2 already...

Loved Isabella, loved Varic. More customization on your classes is needed. No repeat dungeons. And more variety in ewuipment would be really nice. Getting "Greater Amulet" over and over again gets rather boring. A big part of an RPG is loot. Loot should be rewarding when it is hard to earn. Not "oh great another Greater Ring"

bioware, please for the love of god TAKE YOUR TIME on this on! i LOVED the first dragon age but the second one, (so far have not beat but got it on launch) was horribly glitchy and the re use of level design just seemed lazy. i did love the improvement on how the dialog system went but please don't rush this out the door. i don't think anyone wants to pay $60 for a game that barely works

Enviorments were good, but shouldn't they be more focused on GAMEPLAY.
