Randy "The Macho Man" Savage has died. The wrestling superstar suffered a heart attack while driving. He was 58 years old. Savage, known for his signature "elbow drop" move was among the most popular wrestlers of the 1980s, squaring off against all the biggest old-school stars including Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair, and countless WWE jobbers you've never heard of. Macho Man is best known for his Wrestlemania bout against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat during Wrestlemania 3 in 1987.

Savage parted ways with the WWE back in the mid 1990s, but recently reunited with the company in video game form in WWE All-Stars, a game that allowed players to take on the role of classic wrestlers. Check him out in the video below:

I wasn't much of a fan of whole Wrestlemania, WWF or WWE but I did know about Hulk Hogan, Randy "The Macho Man" Savage, Andre the Giant and Rowdy Roddy Piper. Randy Savage's voice was so unique that one couldn't help but notice that he did the voice of Intergalactic Wrestling Champion Rasslor in one of Dexter's Laboratory episodes. He will be missed. R.I.P Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

It's a shame, he died right after his 1st anniversary with his wife. He will always be remembered, he was one of the good things I remember about my childhood. Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage was one of the greatest ever. I live in Florida and knowing that he died here. Just wow, Hopefully WWE will honor him by inducting him into the HOF next year before WM28. I am sure they will.

I live in Nashville, TN and when I was growing up he was a local wrestler here. I went to see him many times and I really enjoyed the matches between him and Jerry the king Lawlor. I have so many fond memories of him and he will be missed!

Every time he showed up in the wild attire and opened his mouth was the favorite moment for me......I wanted to be a wrestler when I was a kid because of him.......You will be missed Macho Man.........Can you Dig it ........OOOOOOHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Macho Man's match at Wrestlemania was probably the best match of any Wrestlemania. Gonna miss Macho.
