The Xperia Play, also known as the "PlayStation phone," will be released in the USA on May 26. The Verizon powered Android phone will retail for $199 with a two-year contract that's $29.99 a month with a data plan. But unlike any other phone, it comes with a ton of games installed for free. The list is under the cut.
- Asphalt 6: Adrenaline
- Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior
- Crash Bandicoot (PlayStation original)
- Madden NFL 11
- Star Battalion
- The Sims 3
Along with these titles, a full library of 50 donwloadable games, including ports of PSOne gamess, will be available on the phone. It has a touchscreen, a slide-out-panel, and the PlayStation style controller you see above. Pretty cool phone, eh?
I dig this phone-- I've played around with one and it's pretty slick-- but I think I'll stick with my iPhone. I'm on a two-year contract!
