Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was officially announced on Friday evening (although the unofficial reveal came hours earlier), and you know what that means: Retailer specific special offers! Yay!
The first of these we've heard of comes from GameStop. The huge game-selling juggernaut revealed its own special offer this morning. If you pre-order Modern Warfare 3 at GameStop in person, you'll receive a double-sided poster. Amazing! The poster will feature the standard Modern Warfare 3 art on one side, and, reportedly, a mocked up Time Magazine cover on the back. GameStop hasn't revealed the back side of the post officially, but JoyStiq has a picture that looks pretty legit to me.

i actually jus got home from gamestop (really short day at work). i saw the posters and figured "im gonna preorder it anyway, ill do it now for more free stuff." the Time thing has an image af a ravaged New York street. at the top are the images of Price and Soap and it says "Interpol's Most Wanted: SAS Commandos still at Large After Global Manhunt." Other text reads:
"World Stands On The Brink"
"Tensions Rise Across Europe"
"Coalition Forces on High Alert as UN Calls Emergency Summit"
"Russian President Stalls Peace Talks in Shadow of Daughter's Disappearance"
"U.S. Asses Damages to East Coast"
"General Shepard Laid to Rest in Arlington"
That "Daughter's Disappearance" thing sounds really important.

The e-mail I got yesterday from the PowerUpRewards club is that the poster contained valuable game information...
I doubt this to be true.
I didn't pre-order it yesterday when I picked up L.A. Noire (and won a free Strat guide!).
I've never played battlefield but I'm hoping the new one is enough to get me off Activision's list.

Pssh, I wouldn't preorder this garbage if it were free. Bad game from a bad company. Please show some intelligence and preorder a game that deserves your money. Preferably something original, anything that's NOT another kiddie console shooter.
