Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has an official teaser trailer. Infinity Ward's FourZeroTwo released the video saying "Wasn’t planned, but you’re clearly hyped, so here is the 1st of many Modern Warfare 3 videos coming in hot today! #MW3" Details about the MW3 leaked so IW decided to release their trailer early. The video is only 35 seconds long and shows what looks like a missile hovering over New York Harbor.

If you're curious about the Russian at the end of the video, our source says it's a little tough to decipher but translates to something like: "One (or someone) will destroy their hope of victory."

Looks to me like they just keep throwing together crap just to come up with something to take away from how great Battlefield 3 looks.I guess thats why the series is now called CRAP of DUTY.Well guess what I'm not a dumb sheep like the rest of the Call of Duty fans.I will be spending my money on Battlefield 3 or one of the many other FPS out there instead of buying COD repackaged garbage they keep pumping out year after year.

Even though I didn't like Black Ops multiplayer I'll end up picking this one up since I liked the previous Modern Warfare's. Also, I never understand why people get so mad at a Call of Duty review for get a 9.0 or something like that. People always seem to forget that most COD campaigns are actually very immersive and cool.

I'll probably like Battlefield 3 in the long run, but this still should be fun.

i know i will buy COD, and you know you will buy COD, and if they keep topping the previous one{like they always do}then Dice will up their ante.Then we'll get a Battlefield title that's awesome and we'll buy that one too...so....who's losing here ? Here's to hoping that neither one of these powerhouses die off...cuz' if that happens then we'll be stuck playing crappy copycats that just don't cut it...and we know there's nothing worse than crappy copycats.

I'll probably be buying both MW3 and BF3... I got Black Ops and Bad Company 2. Love both games and as long as both games have a fleshed out Single Player & Multiplayer experience, then I see no reason not to get them both

me being a PC gamer first and foremost and a console gamer second, its safe to say that after Modern Warfare 1, the COD series has been a copy and paste of other FPS. and from it seems, its just going to cook in the oven, and all bob kotick is going to do is throw it out in the hotplate with out a beta.. Gears of war has a beta, BF3 will be anouncing a beta soon. WHAT ABOUT MW3. if MW2 had a beta, for starters there would not be over 15+ killstreaks, the game would be balanced. BO was totally stale.

i played Battlefield 2 ,and the special forces XP from 2005- 2007. it is to date the best FPS to grace the gaming market. teamwork is EXTREMELY vital to success, not your K/D ratio,. it was about winning and getting medals, those you can brag about , not how many Killstreaks or titles you get. I will dare say that most CONSOLE GAMERS ARE IGNORANT TO SAY THE LEAST. to them they care about cookie cutter yearly releases , instead of waiting for quality games.

Omg so excited to not get it. Its been the same the past three games. These games are not worth $60.00. These games are way too hyped.

I am relieved the single player campaign will continue from the ending of MW2. I want to see what happens with Soap and Capt. Price.

MW3 will be a bigger commercial success than BF3. CoD games are more accessible in its gameplay than BF. It takes a certain mindset to play BF. Most casual gamers will play CoD, because it is simpler to learn and play.

I am a hardcore CoD player, but I do enjoy other shooters like Killzone. I have no problem splitting time playing multiple shooters if they are good. My son loves BF, so I will get my chance to play BF3.

The need to bash one franchise to make another franchise look better seems juvenile in thought. Let there be good gaming all around.

side note: Definitely, I am looking forward to improved Uncharted 3 MP.

Proudly, I am a CoD player and will be until Activision runs it into the ground...lol

I will play the game to try it out and see if they could beat BF3 or if they can beat Infanity which i am not sure they can. They are the ones that created the idea of Shooter muilt. but now its a test and which every programmer must g threw. If it sucks it will kill the CoD series and bring BF3 to its power but we will see. I think they should just bring Infinity back. made more money then Black Opps ever did. Sorry, but it is true.

BF3 will not be better than CoD the gameplay in call of duty is unlike any other game. Its much polished and smooth than any game ive played. IW is not making it its sledgehammer games and raven software. I look forward to anything but black ops

Would all the "cod haters" and "BF3 hypers" please stop trolling in this comment section. As i and other gamers would really enjoy to speculate and have conversations about this game.

Every video that pops up , its like a ton of post saying why they wont buy it , and "how cod should die" or that "cod sucks" and "Bf3 will blow it out of the water". Please its just annoying. IF you dont like the game then dont comment about it every chance you get. Your opinion has been voiced already. I for one will be buying both BF3 and MW3, im going to enjoy both of them and play them for what they are.

Instead of complaining and whining about if MW3 or BF3 is better....i'm just going to buy both and play both! How does that sound? Why does everyone need to be so one sided and complain about everything? Just buy them both and get over it! Also, this is supposed to be a teaser trailer not some long theatrical trailer so yes it is short and yes it doesn't show much. They will have longer trailers coming this is just to get people thinking and excited. BF3 looks amazing but it sounds like Infinity Ward is stepping their game up for MW3 also. From what I've heard MW3 will have larger, destructible maps which is similar to BF3. Should be an interesting race between MW3 and BF3 but like I said I will buy both cuz they both look sick!

Let's see here Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are the ones making MW3 not Treyarc. Plus people should wait until both games (MW3, BF3) comes out to see which is the better game.
