Retailers Wal-Mart, Amazon, Target, and Gamestop have all listed a June 28, 2011 release date for controversial shooter Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Early retailer listings generally aren't the best source for game release dates--they often make place-holder records with "best guess" dates--but when four major retailers all list a game with the same release date, we take notice. It's far from a confirmation, though.
As of now, Ubisoft hasn't revealed a release date for the game. I gave them a call, and if I hear back, I'll let you know what they say.

O.k Camaro72toy,what the HELL are you talking about? So he's wearing a cross, big fat soggy deal. It makes sense because he's the descendant of a character who began as a preacher in the first Call of Juarez game. Jeez, take a friggin chill pill why don't ya, you sound like a hysterical nut.

I'm all for the gameplay mechanics, just lose the " Shove it down their throat " routine with your christanity b.s.

Anyone who thinks this game might suck, I say give it a chance. The previous Call of Juarez game came out of nowhere and took everyone by surprise with it's AAA story and characters. The gameplay itself was also as fun and as polished as any other shooter out there. It has become a bit of a cult hit because of it. It flew under the radar, but nearly every single last person I know who played it had a blast with it.
Also, if you are still not convinced, just remember it is made by the guys who are making Dead Island, they game everyone is psyched for. The Call of Juarez trailers always look stupid, but the games themselves are very, very fun. Don't believe me? Give Call of Juarez 2 a go. You can buy it cheap or rent it, it is even on Games on Demand on Xbox Live if you want. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah, white male on the cover - Christian oriented as hell d00d!
Side Note: there are other religions besides Christian for the mass market? Who'da thunk!

All this is, is a Christian oriented game, trying to sway you into Christianity, don't you see the scheme. If they an't get you though one medium, they're sure as heck gonna try to get you in another. This game has NOTHING to do with any game content, just simply trying to convert you into a Bible believer. Don't fall into their trap!

Interesting concept, but imo this game is fatally flawed in its realization - this could never happen in real life.
If these 3 fools (the characters) walked into Juraez, MX today - they'd be in bodybags or buried in a ditch somewhere by tommorow

Is that a 60 year old Brett Michaels in police gear?
