Ready for a Mortal Kombat tournament? The game, aka "Mortal Kombat 9" will is at Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas this weekend for the PDP sponsored $21,000 Mortal Kombat tournament. But don't worry if you can't make the trip because we have a live stream of the entire event right here on the site so you can follow along at home! We'll have a lot of coverage to keep you up to date, so be sure to keep your browser pointed here throughout the weekend.
Note: As this is an M-rated game, expect M-rated language and graphics during the stream.
- TODAY'S TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE: Sunday from 12 PM PST to 5 PM PST
Mortal Kombat is the reboot of the classic fighting game of the same name, and it's at the tip of the iceberg in the fighting game world right now. Tons of pros are already registered to show up for the tournament with such a huge cash prize on the line. Our live stream, courtesy of PDP, comes from the very talented Team Spooky during the event, and after it's over we'll have a full wrap-up, interviews with the pros and the winners, match highlights, and you definitely won't want to miss it. The tournament is scheduled to kick off today from 12-4 PM PST, and will continue through Sunday night when a champion is crowned.
PDP, the sponsor of the event, developed the incredible Mortal Kombat Fight Stick which they describe as "the ultimate arcade-style joystick controller for the Mortal Kombat video game" and the tournament will be played exclusively using the high-end stick which will be featured throughout the entire event. Speaking of which, we're giving one away with the game!
