Rage, id Software and Bethesda's next post-apocalyptic first-person shooter has a new gameplay trailer. "Shrouded Bunker" shows us a mission in the game where you need to get into the Shrouded clan's secret base to blow up some bombs. Turns out the clans has a bunch of small remote bomber cars that are causing all kinds of trouble. The whole trailer is in-game footage and since Rage is only a few months away from release you can bet this is how good its going to look. This might sound weird but I'm already in love with the sound of collecting ammo.
Rage will be released for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on September 13.

Hopefully this game will do for me what Quake II did for me when it was released; however, Quake II wowed me with its multiplayer, and hopefully Rage will do the same for me with its campaign story.

as awesome as this looks i'm a little tired of post-apocalyptia. doesn't help that the music is very similar to the incredible fallout 3 orchestral soundtrack (obviously not the radio soundtrack)

I really dont like first person shooters because the enemies always seem too robotic and inorganic and I think lately this whole post apocalyptic dust bowl world seems over done lately and I never really cared for it anyway. this game however looks pretty cool, the enemies are moving and reacting the way they should be, and the indoor environments seem to offer you something other than dusty beige so if the story is good enough I might give this a shot.
