Metro 2033

Metro Last Light will be the title of the sequel to Metro 2033. THQ confirmed in their quarter four conference call the title would be coming but not until at least 2012. The title was previously known as Metro 2034 before it was confirmed by THQ. Metro 2033 was a first person shooter/survival horror game. It was met with mixed reviews but many people here in the office are excited for another game in the series.

Are you glad a Metro sequel is in the works?

I held off getting this game for a long time because of the luke warm reviews out there. I enjoyed it....totally immersive experience...just what I like.

Hopefully they can do a bit better with the bug fixes, having to repeatedly load older saves because my gas mask wont come off and I can't equip any of my precious weapons gets old.

Hopefully world doesn't come to an end in 2012 because I definitely want to play the sequel. I was just playing metro 2033 over again but in 3D with SLI with setting on high and I was amazed at the details.

well, they have ALOT to fix from the first game. It was horrible. I'll definitely give this a shot though.

I was not really a fan of the first game (though the atmosphere was great). Hopefully the dev. will make some improvements.

I hope they improve the things that didn't work in Metro 2033. The sequel should be in an open-world environment like the Stalker series instead of being stuck in subways most of the time.

Outstanding. I am surprised that a publisher is backing a sales under-performer; however, I couldn't be more pleased. I am always down for a game dripping with atmosphere and substance over a by-the-numbers action game with big set pieces. Good on you THQ. I will be purchasing for sure.

No sequel title yet hmm... Subway 2044 nah to unoriginal. I know how about Super Segway Unicorn 2044, the title makes up for how deep, dark and depressing the game is. Hooray!!!

Very nice to see THQ supporting a sequel to a very underrated game. Cant wait to see how the story continues. If you never played it before there is a free 30 minute demo on OnLive.
