A lot can happen in a week, and this past week was a doozey. Between the PSN outage, the Royal Wedding, and the death of Osama Bin Laden our minds have been spinning. Adam Sessler, of course, has his own unique take on these recent events, and even found a thread that he thinks links them all together. How much can the actions of one or two people affect millions of other people? Find out in this week's Sessler's Soapbox.

Adam your the Guru of gaming.

I think, perhaps, these things relate to each other in the sense of constructing some sort of stark dichotomy (trichotomy?) of the ways a few people can affect the many.

Its criminal that the Sess has remain so local for so long, he really needs to branch out.

I fail to see why so many people in the US are fascinated by the Royal Wedding. We came to America so that we didn't have to care about that crap. The Pilgrims would be disappointed in us.

"The internet is other people."
I think I prefer the original:
"Hell is other people"

No comment about our morbid fascination with death?
I applaud Adam for his worldliness and completely agree with his opinions on the royal wedding.

This week have proven how one person has the power to change the world. One person shut down the PSN and changing the world of gaming. One person made an entire nation happy, mad, sad, and skeptical all at the same time by simply dying. Also it was only one person who felt that the Royal wedding was actually important enough to have to television, causing so many people to become complete and total idiota behind a wedding between two rich people with absolutely no power or dominion over anyone.

It felt to me that the catching of Osama didn't really do much...kind of a small hip hip hooray was thrown and now its over with. on the second note of the royal wedding i would like to agree with Mr. Sessler by saying that i did not watch the wedding and nor did i want too...im happy where i am and if its not my sisters or brothers getting married i dont care. Either way thats my two cents...if its even worth that much.
P.S. Note for Patrick Roche-Sowa you spelled network wrong in the tags...looks like you put "PlayStation Notwork" just a heads up lol

It seems to me that the word of osama getting killed has gotten around but...it disent seem like anybody really cares...like somebody is drinking coffee and says "oh yeah thats cool" then goes back to drinking coffee. It just didnt seem like a huge event. on the royal wedding note i agree with you Adam. I didnt watch the wedding nor did i want to. anyway..thats my two cents on it. Tata for now

Maybe the the Sony hacker took the credit card info to pay for the royal wedding, since Bin Laden was unavailable.
