The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS has a new trailer, just released by Nintendo. The trailer shows some of the updated graphics, although the biggest improvement, 3D, isn't actually visible. One thing they obviously haven't changed is the audio. Those same melodies from the N64 are heard in this trailer and they are sucking me in! I don't want to buy a $250 piece of hardware for a game I already have, three times! How can I possibly resist the sounds of Hyrule though?

Not only will I have to cave to my own zeld-addiction but it looks like I might have to suck it up and pre-order too. According to Shinobi, Nintendo will only be shipping Zelda: OoT 3DS in limited quantities, with less than 150,000 copies in Japan. A similar launch might be planned for the US as well. Of course game stores are taking pre-orders and Nintendo could easily ship more than they are planning if they see a demand for them.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS will be released exclusively for the 3DS on June 19.

I always wanted to do the water temple in 3D, wait a second I hated the water temple, love the game but I don't want to do THAT again.

I really don't understand you people. There's more people on here trying to bash Nintendo into the ground for this than there are celebrating it. This game deserves to be released over and over again on every Nintendo console until the end of time. It is consistently voted at the top of most every Best Games of All Time list, and rightly so. While I seem to be in the minority here and probably will get flamed irresponsibly, I already have this pre-ordered and cannot wait. It isn't the only reason I bought a 3DS (Star Fox, Kid Icarus, *crosses fingers* Castlevania) but it probably will be the game that sits at the top of my Activity Log forever. Long live Zelda: OoT and FTW if they don't understand!

This pre-order deal proves nintendo is lieing about there numbers.. Pre-order this or you may not get it.. Ya thats because its a rehashed game for the 4th time and this is NOT A NEW TITLE.

I don't know what you people are complaining about, this isn't going to be the only game on the 3DS don't forget about Kid Icarus, Resident Evil, Mario, Professor Layton, etc... There are more reasons to drop 250 (no the price is not 300) on a 3DS than this game.
Also this game may be a re-release but it is coming with new features (no not 3D) and game modes, plus updated graphics.

I dunno why you're all saying it doesn't look that good, it looks great to me. The real test will be the 3D though. But I don't understand why they're only making a limited amount. Making a game that once it's sold out will never be able to be found again sounds like a bad idea.

Nintendo just won't learn from their past mistakes. They just cannot seem to keep up with current technology. The 3DS is just one step too far that people are just not ready for, then to re-re-re-re-re-re-re-Release the same exact game is just shamful. Come on Nintendo, get it together.

pay almost $300 for a new system and game OR just break out the N64, Gamecube, or emulator and play it again on that? Im all for reliving past greatness but I don't see a need to drop that much money on it.

It doesn't look that great to me. In fact, I think it looks horrible. I'm glad I didn't spend the money for a 3D handheld.
