Nintendo is launching a new budget line of games for $19.99 called "Nintendo Selects" starting with a new Mario Kart Wii console bundle and four popular titles including The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers, and Wii Sports. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is another title that's heading towards the line but wasn't pictured. The Mario Kart Wii bundle will come in both black and white, but what's most interesting about the news is that it definitely hints towards a Wii price drop.
We've heard a few rumors about the Wii price drop over the past few weeks, especially with all of the speculation surrounding the new confirmed Nintendo Console. So with the release of the Nintendo Selects line, the price drop rumors have just gained more credence. Supposedly the price drop will occur on May 15 according to retailers, so if you've been waiting to pick up a Wii, you're in luck.

Well I kinda feel like the wii price drop has already happened since I saw the New Super Mario Bros Wii console bundle for $125 at Costco.

So did Mario Kart Wii get the price cut as well?

Looks like I'm finally gonna buy some Wii games. Couldn't justify paying $50 for a Wii game, but $20 seems right.
