Catherine has been given a release date for the US, July 26. Atlus has also revealed their pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses for Catherine. The deluxe edition, "Love Is Over," comes packaged within a collectible pizza box. It also comes with several other items inspired by characters from the game, "a pair of polka dot boxers like the ones worn by Vincent during his manic nightmares, Vincent's "Empty Hearts" T-shirt worn by Catherine in the game, and a pillow case decorated with an alluring image of Catherine, a nod to the pillow tucked under Vincent's arm as he frantically races to escape the terrors that pursue him."

The "Love Is Over" deluxe edition of Catherine will ship in quantities based on pre-orders. It's recommended retail price is $79.99. If this offer sounds tempting to you, which I know it does, then pre-order now. If you don't want the deluxe edition but still think you're interested in the game, a standard pre-order bonus is also available. Gamers who pre-order either versions will receive the Catherine Sound Disc & Art Book. The book has 36 pages of full-color art from the game and the CD has 11 tracks.
Catherine comes from the makers of the Persona series and is already a hit in Japan. It will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 when it is released on July 26, 2011.

Just read G4's description of the game as I have no previous knowledge of it and I must say. Vincent is a genius for having his "side piece" named the same as his gf. While I am completely against cheating on your significant other, I do have to appreciate a good idea when I see it. ...Catherine/Katherine, it's just smart thinking, it would be a lot harder for me, Janessa "Jahnessa"?

This strange marketing has peaked my interest. I will have to learn more about this game before casting judgment. Very strange marketing, maybe there trying to get people to at least give it a look.

The actual gameplay looks kinda meh but I really want to play this but I don't feel like buying pillow cases and pizza boxes. The new Agarest War one looks awesome but this? Eh...

While the game looks milding entertaining, this is really a stupid CE. I am spending 20.00 for a pizza box.. Do you really think your friends would let you live this down.. So let me get this straight, you got underware and a pizza box for 20.00 more..
