Portal ARG Puzzle Hints At Half-Life 2:Episode 3

I'm not going to lie, I get really angry when it comes to playing videogames. This weekend, I threw an Xbox 360 controller into a wall and almost broke a mouse after I slammed it into my computer desk after I died in Half-Life 2: Episode 1. I've got anger issues! I've definitely broken a steelseries headset, almost half a dozen  gaming mice, countless keyboards, and I'm sure if I played more console games I'd have quite a bit of destroyed hardware there as well. It's not that I'm terrible at games, it's just that I hate losing more than anything. What about you? Do you take your gaming anger issues out on your controllers, walls, televisions, or whatever else you might seem fit to throw, or do you just take a deep breath and not take it so seriously?

After reading these comments, along with my past gaming experience frustrations. All I am saying is, NERF really starts making Video Game accessories for a lot of us.

I tend to take the stingy approach; fail until I don't, then quit right after so I end on top.

Lol! This so hits close to home with how I am... >.> I have anger issues as well and tend not to take it out on others so my only other route is gaming! Hahahaha. Surprisingly never broke anything..just pound on my keyboard tray al the time.

Goes to show us why online multiplayer deserves to just go away. What reason is there to be angry when playing games? Last time I checked they are supposed to be about fun and that was it

I used to curse at games but while I was playing Hard Corps on Xbox 360, I said "WTF!"(the actual phrase) out loud and my 3 yr old daughter repeated the same thing. I sat there shocked and speechless to my wife walking in with her hands on her hips giving me "The Look." Now I say "aw nuts"

I've definitely thrown tons of punches to pillows, and sometimes, not so fortunately, at tables and other hard stuff (ouch!). However, after years of going through the same stuff over and over, it's just less painful to just save at where you died and just go do something else.

Granted, I picked up some old-school games recently, and saving mid-game didn't exist with these games...

Unfortunately I tend to curse up a blue streak when I'm in boss battles or playing horror games. It's not good, and I try no to, but there are times that dropping Carlin's 7 in a row (and mixing them up for good measure) makes the pain of getting your a$$ handed to you easier to bear. If a game is intensely scary it tends to be worse. Ravenholm in Half-Life 2, that was a memorable time.

I have found that quitting when you are frustrated and coming back a day later makes things easier. I think subconsciously you work out a tactic so re-playing isn't nearly as hard.

I watched a man rip a USB controller (basically a Playstation controller) in half with his bare hands.

    MIE USB controller!

i don't get mad at the game itself, but i do get mad when people around me are distracting me or purposely annoying the jeebus out of me. once at a net cafe, sitting very closely to the cashier who was spamming me on how to play a specific hero in dota, i got so mad i tore the mouse from the base of the cable and through it past his face. another time i shouted at across the same net cafe at some girl bothering her boyfriend and not paying attention to her. but i never ever dared to damage any hardware, mine or not.

It depends on why I am struggling in a game. If the developer got lazy and used a cheap gimmick to kill me, I'll get really mad and start swearing. If I am doing something wrong or I'm not good enough I just grumble a bit and take a short break to let my brain think my way through it and continue.

I may say a curse word or 2 but never really break anything. If I am mad at a game, I would just get pissed off and turn the game off and do something else. LOL

I tend to get annoyed at games from time to time and in the past I definitely didn't know when to stop in my youth (I've broken a copy of Mario Party 2 in rage and I whipped a controller at my TV during a marathon of Devil May Cry but luckily nothing broke that time). However I now know when to take a break. Mortal Kombat has clearly shown that for me cause I came to quite a few bumps in the road in that game and I found that taking a break and coming back to it I'd always perform better. If your raging in a game just put it down and take a breather. Your fatigued, it happens

I've settled down a lot since my younger gaming day. As a kid I once ripped a N64 controller in half in a fit of rage, grabbed it at the seam and just pulled as hard as I could, lol. My solution nowadays is to just turn it off and do something else.

I do get mad once in a while, but I either keep trying to get through or I put the game down for a while and pick it back up and beat the problem quickly. LOL

It's normal to break stuff when you're pissed. But what to break is always the hard part. So I settle for throwing empty beer bottles in the woods near my house... then I pick up the pieces for the greener good. T-T

I turn into a totally different person when playing games. Everyone will think I'm a nice girl and then once I get to that boss fight that seems impossible I start talking like Scarface. The last boss in Dante's Inferno and Lady Yunalesca in FFX had me screaming at anyone walking past the TV.

Since I've been gaming I've easily broke 15 controllers and countless tv remotes. Pretty much anything that is in throwing range gets thrown onto the floor. I don't throw into wall because I don't want any holes to repair lol.

Sure I get mad, but I'm more inclined to shut the game off than do something ugly. Leah, you need to smoke some weed.
