Okay, I'm curious. Who is mini-Blair? Is that her niece, daughter, younger sister, or what? Or is she not related to Blair but rather someone else who works in the office?

why does it have to be right wingers that get upset? the backstory of the character, yes is alien. but who cares, his entire identity has been that of an American superhero. yes, he deals with a bigger picture in that he protects the planet, but he has also brought american values to the rest of the world. at the core of the character is his upbringing from his human parents. renouncing this seems like the writers didn't take this into account. hopefully there is context that I'm missing. but detaching that from the character removes an essential piece of the whole that makes superman, superman. here's hoping that there is a larger plot line than just some superficial globalist opinion showing through from a writer working at DC comics.

LOL Wolverine is Canadian, played by an Aussie and made by Americans. Superman, an alien made by Americans. Enough with the race crap. I always liked Marvel over DC just because of the Hulk, Punisher, Dead Pool, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and Spider Man and those aren't the only good characters. And those are just 6 of the how many hundreds of Marvel characters? The only good DC characters are Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and Captain Marvel.

Superman, the most overrated one dimensional comic book character ever. Who really cares.
That said, Marvel books completely blew everything else out of the water this week.
American Vampire being the exception, that books always good.
I'm really digging where Amazing Spider-man and the FF books are heading, Hickman and Slott are amazing writers.
Also, Brubaker continues to impress with Captain America. The whole trial of Cap arc was fantastic and Gulag is a great read so far.
Walking Dead #84 was a huge let down. There's no way he should survive that wound and Rick's attitude 180 is heavy handed.
I thought Kirkman was better than that up to this point.

Wow. Political correctness. What a fear tactic. And it works which is sad. Of course or generation wouldn't care or support this. He was raised as an American. You can fight your government and still be an American. Our founding fathers supported the idea that every so many years we need a revolution. Superman was used as an American icon of hope in times when people needed whatever little hope they could get. Our generation hasn't really suffered any to be proud of or country. We are to weak like a crying baby. Cry and whine alot, but are we going to do anything? No. We give up and decide that it's easier to bash our country than to change it.

First off Drudge is not a blog.

Second it isn't really right wing.

Third why do right wingers care if Superman left Obama's America.

and finally the Bush/Obama monstrous robot of stupidity have made me wish I could revoke my US citizenship.

    AMERICA'S WORSE DECADE EVER!!!!!!

I thought the Paul Cornell Lex Luthor story wrapped up nicely. I could have done without the Doomsday tie-in though. Loved the Damon Lindelof story. Batwoman was without a doubt the best part of Batman Inc. #4 and #5. That monologue of Rick's at the end of Walking Dead, I really thought he was gonna be saying that to Carl's rotting corpse. Echoes #5 and Xombi #2 were great!!

In all fairness to the comics, Superman has always been slightly Douchey. No offense to the fans when I say that mind you, but, this statement just says to me that he has had it with people ACTUALLY LIVING THEIR LIVES WITHOUT HIM!
