What the hell is wrong with Sony???? They give us all this info but no info on when the system will be back online again.... I can't understand it,Sony is a SUPER rich company with all the best working on their side but they don't seem to make any progress or give us an estimated date when we will be back online again. We want to know WHEN!!!

I just did a huge purge took all my credit cards off line, and cancelled the only card i have. Now i will only use PSN cards, and amazon cards this way i will not have to worry about this next time.
jaysun3535
thats why its good to use pre-paid cards thats what i use and i will continue to do just that and this is the reason why i've did it for so long you never know when this might happen again it could happen to ebay or amazon people should never be that careless with their information

Honestly, people...I keep seeing all these pathetic fanboy comments comparing the PSN outage to real disasters in which human lives were at stake. If the network never comes back, if every last Playstation on earth were to suddenly melt, no one's life would be significantly damaged in any way. You all sound like a mob of fat, spoiled ten year-olds who want more chocolate. Just play some single player games, calm down, get a damn helmet, and be patient, for god's sake.

Now its starting to piss me off, Apollo 13 figured out the problem and made it back to Earth quicker!

When one considers that the PS3 is reported to have put Sony into the red by 4.7 BILLION dollars...
http://www.vg247.com/2009/10 /30/sony-ps-division-has-lost- 4-7-billion-since-launching-ps 3/
...and the fact that it took the company from a dominate #1 position, last generation, to last place this generation...then add on a possible class action law suit from this latest debacle, it's clear that the PS3 has been the worst disaster for Sony since their exploding laptop batteries.
