Gears of War 3's multiplayer beta will open to the public on April 25th. The beta opened for Bulletstorm's Epic Edition owners on Monday. Epic has posted a schedule for special modes for those participating in the beta.

@liquid and dpsx the only reason you could have to say that the gears franchise sucks is because you would never get to play it on your ps3!
what's the matter you can't get mommy to buy you both so you trash the best 3rd person shooter ever made period.
let's not get me started on how long the ps3 would take to download and install and the 435 mandatory 3 hour updates the ps3 would need to just get gears running on the ps3.
by the end of the updating and waiting the beta would be over anyways, so you would never get in!

We have to wait til May 2nd for CTL to come back? CTL is the best gametype in the beta. I don't see why they removed all of the cool stuff just because the Bulletstorm people got the beta now.

I'm all for bashing bad games like DPs here, but somebody somewhere must play this, else they would not make!
I'm sure everyone likes different games...that others frown at without trying...
For instance i enjoy a good YuGiOh game if for no other reason than it's too expensive to buy all the cards and no one i know has them any way.
I stopped buying DBZ games though...after about 10 i realized they all changed things or censored the show. (you'd be surprised how many of them don't have piccolo's arm being blown off etc..)
What I'm trying to say is you probably like something stupid like Gundam robot fighting games or something equally bad and don't want everyone to jump all over you for it.
...or you just buy what commercials tell you and lack a personality in general.

I am so amazed that two avowed i-love-my-ps3-so-your-xbox sucks' fanatics are spending so much effort dissing a game they claim to want nothing to do with on a system they loathe. Don't be threatened - PS3 has some great games too!

OK. First of all, I'm looking forward to Gears more than anything this fall. Second, I've always been a big anti-fanboy person. I always say that there is almost no diference in consoles and there is no coralation between a console and how a person is, but people like DPsx7 and Liquid Swords make it hard to defend Playstation gamers when they make themselves look like full blown idiots and just troll on something that doesn't affect them.

I am so glad I am not just a one system fanboy. I love my PS3 it makes a wonderful blue ray player. I also love my Xbox and it makes for a very good GEARS OF WAR 3 BETA player.
Don't buy into the salt these two guys are giving you. It is quite clear they are into ps3 and only ps3.
GEARS 3 BETA is great. Next Tuesday a million people will be playing the beta, while 20,000 people will be playing Kill Zone 3. You want to show me the first week sales on KILL ZONE 3 and then compare them to the first week numbers on gears 3?
