Mass Effect 3 has been a hot topic today. First we told you about possible leaked details from a Spanish magazine. Now we've got two new screenshots that were leftover from Game Informer's coverage of BioWare's sci-fi RPG. Both pictures show Commander Shepard fighting against Cerberus forces on the Salarian home-world. What is Cerberus' weapon of choice? Lens flare.

anyone know if it will be a ps3 dayone release also? or come out after xbox and pc like for me2? i bloody hope not 'cause i loved me2, i wondered what all the hype was about so when it released for ps3 i bought it... and wow christ cant wait

I chose to go against Cerberus's wishes at the end of ME2, so I knew they weren't going to be my friends. I wanna see my choices have a bigger effect. The choices in ME2 did affect the story, but it was little things here and there. I wouldn't mind some game altering choices. I didn't like the whole loyalty equaling whether someone lives, or dies. I liked the loyalty missions because I got to learn a little bit about each character, but just didn't like the feeling that I had to do it, or that they might die in the end because of their loyalty. I'd prefer it if the choice impacted the characters life sooner, rather than having to wait till the end of the game to see the effects of my choices. That said, I can't wait for ME3. I gotta get back to ME2 and finish my final play through. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to import my first play through just because I think the choices I made on that one were the most true to what I wanted. On other play throughs I went out of my way to make choices I hadn't already made.

I'm curious as to why Cerberus is after you, I could understand why if you blew up the Collector base, but what if you saved it for them?

Trying not to pay too much attention to the hype for this game. I want to enjoy it without having outlandish expectations. But, it's so hard...so hard ...like a rabbit pecker in a cotton candy shop.

Wow. I didn't think Cerberus would be good all through ME2 just to betray you in ME3.

they need to fix the patch they released because it mess up the the comic choices by going one way regardless of what you picked

@ Ji99saw, ah but isn't that the beauty of Mass Effect? Choices = consequences, and I'm just hoping this game brings home that point more than any before it. Give me character death! Give me the destruction of whole societies! I want to weep over the corpses of those dead because of my actions, and endlessly curse that seemingly minor decision in Mass Effect 1 that has tremendous implications in this last iteration. Don't pull any punches Bioware! I'm a big girl, I can take it!

Looking good so far. Graphics are noticeably better than Mass Effect 2 as far as I can see.

I hated working for Cerberus in 2 since I was fighting against them throughout the first game. I can't wait to get some payback!

I replayed 1 before 2 came out so I could be sure that I would have a save with all the choices I wanted. Now I'm going to replay it AGAIN to be double sure and then replay 2 with ALL the DLC as well. To extreme? I don't think so.
