The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is getting the 3D treatment this June when it will be re-released for Nintendo's handheld, the 3DS. The game will be more than a straight port and will feature Master Quest, a harder version of OoT with reworked dungeons originally released for the Gamecube. Now we're finding out that LoZ: OoT 3DS will feature even more bonus content including Boss Rush.
Boss Rush allows gamers to challenge bosses who have already been defeated. You can even face all the bosses in a make-shift challenge tower, one after the other. Ocarina of Time 3DS is not being developed in house by Nintendo. Instead, it is being developed by Grezzo.
I am a gigantic Zelda fan and my purchase of a 3DS rests solely on this title. I've decided to go through with the purchase under one strict condition: After I beat the Water Temple in this game, Zora's Domain must melt. It's only fair!
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS will be released on June 19 exclusively for the 3DS.

Awesome! I hope they do more with this game, and make it the ultimate zelda fanboy, must own, title.

There is one omission in this article. Yes, the Master Quest is included in this game, BUT it is not the same Master Quest we have played earlier. It is a much harder version of the previously released Master Quest. This is the only reason I plan on buying a 3DS, not the game itself, but the fact it's a super amped up version of the Master Quest I pwned so many years ago. Now the addition of the Boss Rush mode makes things very interesting indeed.

sounds like the end of Shining Force II when you wait 5 minutes at THE END screen and get taken to a map to fight every boss in the game.
odd-eye is so pwn.

Wow. Did not expect this, I guess that's what happens when Nintendo outsources their main franchises to third party developers. See Metroid Prime or Donkey Kong Returns for example (both Retro Studios). Maybe we will get lucky and they'll re-release Majora's Mask and WInd Waker on the 3DS as well.
