Today is a very special day for gamers. There's not one triple-A title coming out, not two, nor three, but in fact four huge games that are releasing on this very day, and between them there is something for just about everyone. We've got the puzzle platformer Portal 2, the gruesome fighting game Mortal Kombat, the third person multiplayer shooter SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs, and the alien invasion FPS thriller Conduit 2. I've been dying to play Portal 2 for months and I couldn't be more excited now that it's finally out. It will definitely be the one that I'm picking up. What about you?

I was there for the midnight release yesterday morning, and I picked up Portal 2. My friend next door got all three major releases, so I figured I'd probably be playing Mortal Kombat more at his house than mine (if I were to have gotten it) anyways. He's out of town on a business trip this week though, so he let me borrow MK for the week so I can study up some Fatalities. ;D

So i bought and have played SOCOM 4 and MK!! Mk is a blast and is really fun, SOCOM 4 is really good online and coop, havent tried the story but i recommend it!

None of the above are that great. Portal is weak and infected with Steam. MK might be ok if I cared for the genre. Socom is too slow, I want faster and more original shooters. Conduit is, imagine that, ANOTHER SHOOTER.

Gonna be getting Portal 2 later on in the week. Too busy with exams right now sadly. Don't have Portal 1, so I think I might get that game as well.

I'm getting Mortal Kombat. it should be be delivered later today. i really want portal 2 but i'm gonna have to wait a little while for that one. but mortal kombat will more than sufficefor now. can't fn wait to play it

I'd like to leave work early to go play Portal 2. I feel like I'm in grade school again waiting for the bell to ring in order to run home!!
I haven't been this excited about a video game since I was thoroughly let down by Fallout: New Vegas. Hopefully this will wash that bitterness out of my mouth. :)

Definitely Portal 2 as well. I'm gonna pick it up for the 360 because i like achievements, but it was very tempting to go for the PS3 version because of all the cross platform compatibility and such, but I prefer achievements. Probably going to pick it up on lunch break from work so I can just go straight home after.
