PSM3 magazine may have an inside scoop on Sony's E3 plans. According to the gaming magazine, another beloved PlayStation franchise will be getting a sparkly new HD makeover. “The current trend of classic games being remade in HD like Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia is set to continue with a major PS franchise set to reveal its new HD glory at E3,” the magazine reads. “No clues. But you’ll like it.”
The obvious guesses include the original Metal Gear Solid trilogy and Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I personally hope it's an HD remake of Jumping Flash or Mister Mosquito.

I really hope it's Legend of Dragoon. I loved that Sony RPG, despite the rather poor localization of the original. It will probably be Syphon Filter though.

I am hoping for a bunch of stuff, Such as:
-The Legend of Dragoon (NEEDED a sequel, if not, at least a prequel)
-The Crash Bandicoot Series (When they were with Naughty Dog)
-The Twisted Metal Series (Us PS fans NEED this)
-Metal Gear Solid (For Obvious reasons)
-Final Fantasy Series (The Best Ones by far)
-The Spyro Series (When they were with Insomniac)
-The Ratchet and Clank Series (Epic from the start)
-The Jak and Daxter Series (They were perfect on the PS2)

I would Like Resident Evil 2 and 3 to be remade kind of like the gamecube remake of the original
but I doubt its resident evil related due to the HD Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X announcement a while back

Kingdom Hearts 1&2 in HD? Ha I saw that coming. Delay Kingdom Hearts 3 even more. When they release an HD Kingdom Hearts 1&2, a couple of years later I bet they gonna release the 3D versions of them too. COMON 12-21-12!!, Save us from grief.

The Metal Gear Solid trilogy, Crash Bandicoot (Crash would be great for the fiance), the GTA PS2 trilogy (GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas), Final Fantasy 7 8 and 9, Legend of Dragoon (one of the most under-appreciated PS1 games ever!), Zone of the Enders 1 and 2 all should get HD remakes for PS3.
And a little message for KulasDevorn and anyone that agrees with him: Why rain on everyone's parade? There are lots of new games coming out, what harm is it if a few games get remakes. They wouldn't happen if the public didn't want it. I would love to re-experience some of my childhood favorites on updated equipment. I have Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for probably 4 different consoles now, including the latest download from the PS Store. And the old excuse about how so many games now are sequels isn't fair because every time a new IP comes out and is successful, people demand a sequel, which then means we have just another game of sequels. I love all games. Remakes, sequels, and new original IPs. So instead of complaining about what other gamers are enjoying, why don't you just purchase and play the specific games you play and not whine about others enjoying a little nostalgia in high definition.
Sorry about the rant. I would rather keep things fun and lighthearted. I just had to say something because I know there are a lot of people I hear complain about that, yet those kinds of movies and games still sell super well and are often actually good. So what other games should we add? I think everyone should mention at least two games. One game already mentioned to further support for it, and one new game not mentioned yet. :) Happy posting!

The MGS Trilogy would be amazing. Even though I've beat all three games multiple times I would replay them and earn some trophies along the way. FF7 would also be awesome. The classic Crash Bandicoot games would be great to play with the fiance. hmm.. So far all of the games I am thinking of are already taken. What about HD remakes of the PS2 GTA trilogy. You know, GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas. I would love to be Tommy Varcetti in high def or C.J. traveling across an entire state with jet packs and all. Just high def and populate the world with more stuff like people and cars to maim but keep the old control and handling. Any more original ideas?
