Opening Valve's The Potato Sack Of Indie Games

Valve posted a countdown clock that many hoped would lead to an early release of Portal 2. As the numbers counted down, 4, 3, 2, 1, there was a collective sigh of disappointment on the internet. Valve kind of trolled us with a challenge. Portal 2 will be released early if gamers buy and play a bunch of indie games on Steam called The Potato Sack.

The Potato Sack is a collection of 13 games that will set you back $38.72. You don't have to buy the pack to participate, it's just an easy way to play all the games required. If you already own one of the games and you play it now it will count towards the end-goal of Portal 2. Or buy the pack and give the extra game to a friend. Don't have any friends? Well that's because you're greedy and never give away your games.

Obviously, you have to buy and play these games like the Valve-sheep that you are, but before you jump in here's some information about each game.
