Although retail listings for video games are rarely accurate, I feel it's worth noting that GameStop, in Germany, has listed Grand Theft Auto 5 for a January 15, 2012 release. Don't mark it down in your calendar, though. Often, retailers create records for games they expect to see in the future, without having much concrete information, so it's more of a projection than anything else.
I predict, though, that we will be getting a fat Grand Theft Auto 5 announcement at E3 in June, and you can mark your calendar for those dates: June 7-9. We'll be bringing you all things E3 here at G4, as we do every year.

There's a good possibility of a new GTA being announced at E3, and if one is, then I'd be excited to hear about it. GTA is a series that revolutionized open world/sandbox style gaming and all the games in the series have an appeal to them whether it be the cars, the open city, the weapons, the missions, or just anything else that makes them fun. Rockstar has a long history of making great, triple A games so GTA V likely will not disappoint.

There needs to be, jet planes, mountain/bmx bikes, Weight gain/gay gain etc., full car detail shop, and they will be near where they were at, so hopefully they put alot of stuff* in this one. Take a long look back at San Andreas put all that stuff* back in, then think...what else can we put in this game*?

I know it's just a small detail but I hope they have it to where you can buy property, businesses and even more clothes than San Andreas had...I liked everything from IV except multiplayer to me was unnecessary in a game like this and there were little things missing...Very good game nonetheless...
