Yesterday we found out that Starfox 64 3D is coming out in Japan on July 14, and that's cool. But Starfox 64 3D really is a just a remake of a remake, albeit an awesome one. And The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is obviously just a remake of the original on the N64. We continuously buy into remakes all the time though, more recently with Beyond Good & Evil HD. Are there any games out there from long ago that you'd love to see an HD remake of? My favorite game ever is Final Fantasy 9, so that would be my choice. What about yours?

I know it has been said millions of times over the years but a FF7 remake could be pretty awesome. Also remaking Earthbound with improved graphics but the same core gameplay could also kick ass, and last but not least, a new Super Mario RPG would be much appreciated.

The DS remake doesn't count to me. I want a CONSOLE remake, not a handheld remake.
I want them to update the animation style to be like Tetsuya Nomura's CG animation style, not that Akira Toriyama animation style garbage. I'm sorry to those that like Toriyama-san's style of animation, but it just doesn't sit well with me.
And I want the combat mechanics to be updated to Kingdom Hearts'/Final Fantasy's combat mechanics; I just don't know if I'll still have the same amount of patience for turn-based combat anymore. =/

I would love to see updated versions of Rival Schools and Pocket Fighter.
A remake of the original Silent Hill would be great, Shattered Memories was interesting but the evasion gameplay negatively impacted the scariness of the exploratory portions of the game.
