I can't remember the last time G4 made an ACCURATE "Best Of" series.
You left out Goldeneye 007, the defining FPS of N64.
You left out Darkforces, one of the most popular shooters at the time, which spawned an entire string of StarWars games.
And this last one you missed, which is almost offensive...
Starsiege: Tribes.
You left out the ONE game that outright DEFINED the future of online gaming, not to mention was the single most popular online shooter at the time.
Ugh.

Man totally forgot about Blood. I had both a Mac and PC back then, so Marathon is a needed addition. Rise of the Triad and the Heretic series were fun as well, in addition to the aforementioned Dark Forces games. And for a great survival, horror, adventure, shooter Realms of the Haunting is a must.

I was playing Half-Life a few months ago and it still holds up in terms of gameplay. I wish there were more FPSs out there that had a strong single-player focus instead of a 6 hour campaign and multiplayer the just rips off COD and/or Battlefield. Alas, only Bioshock comes to mind.
