Capcom's Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 was released in February, and since then, a bunch of DLC has been released: Costume packs, game modes and more. Well, people, according to Capcom, there will be no more content released for the game.
The news comes by way of a tweet from the Capcom Europe that reads:
"MvsC3 is out, done and dusted, no further announcements planned."
That's what we call "closure!" It seems like a shame, given the endless number of potential Marvel heroes and villains that could be added to the game, though.

Pretty sure AK1Ra66 statment is a fact. lil too early for them to be done. costume packs and such . way much more potential and i highly doubt that they would waste this

I hope Ak1ra666 is right, they already blew an actual story for this game, I would think they wouldn't take away the promised dlc as well.

WTF!!!! Where's Venom? Capcom made some stupid choices for characters in this game and left out some great ones (did I mention Venom?). I was so pumped for the game, but was a bit disappointed when I got it. I did hope that DLC would redeem the game. I guess I don't have to worry anymore... I'll be trading this in for Mortal Kombat, a game that will meet the hype.

yeah people were trading this game back like crazy. I was wondering why. Everyone basically had the same complaint that they took out some character they liked from MvC2. Glad I decided to put my money down on MK instead.

The game is great, but why would they decide to not add more characters? One of the things people loved about 2 was the amount of characters you could choose from. This game could be one of the best fighters ever if they put more iconic characters in as dlc. This sounds like major crap to me.

And that is why I traded that game in last month. I was very dissapointed in the final product. I was playing MvC2 more then this game.

As a fan of MvC2 and as someone who has yet to pick up 3, I kinda feel abandoned. This is a game that fans have been waiting for for a long time and when it came out I had looked at the roster and thought "Well, we have DLC now. We can always expect more to come." But I guess Capcom has either pulled the plug prematurely or has decided to put more focus toward Capcom X Tekken
