White Knight Chronicles 2 will be coming to North America thanks to D3 Publisher. White Knight 2 was confirmed for Europea last week by Sony, but they didn't plan on bringing it to the US. Since American audiences want, nay need, more White Knight, Namco Bandai subsidiary D3 is stepping up to the plate. White Knight Chronicles 2 was made by Level-5 and is PS3 exclusive RPG.
White Knight Chronicles 2 will be released this summer.

i played both WK1 eng version and WK2 japanese version. The battle system of WK2 is much improved and much smoother than the old one. I quited WK1 in the very beginning stage but i got addicted in WK2, more than 1000 hours have been spent on this game (yes, 1000hours, more than total hours that i have played in FF serious). But if you are not gonna to play online, do not consider buying this game.
I am also a FF fans, but i will say WK2 is far better than FF13.

Meh, WKC is kinda kewl, yet also there are some aspects to it that make it boring, I just hope they create a better battle system.

Again? Really? The first really was not that interesting and the character you created was there for about five minutes and was really only used in the online mode and even that was sub-par. Well, here's to it being better and hopefully being fun to play.

WKC sucked. The game had no challenge at all. Give me either Demon's Souls 2 or skip ahead to winter so we can play Dark Souls.

I have this game. It's not nearly as cool as they say it is.The game can only get better. The battle is gauge based, like FF XIII but it's still freeroaming, like Assassin's creed, so you aren't transported to a battle screen. You just walk around in battle, and wait while your gauge charges up. And,no matter how far away you are from the monster, it will hit you, unless it's charging. Not to mention you can't kill bosses without the Knight. The worst part of all is, the only evidence that your Character exists is the battles and Leonard's boss gestures to you. Otherwise, your character that you spent an hour making doesn't exist, so the game can't get any worse.

This game is truely an amazing game.. I for one will be pre ordering the game the second it becomes available for pre order.. too bad Sony didn't have enough faith in the game as I do... and thanks to D3 publishing for giving us a great game.. my Thanks... hope to be questing with you when it comes to America

I was waiting for you guys to get this up on here and i for one can;t wait this was one of my favorite games last year and one of the few games to ever pull me back into it even after finishing it. Also i cannot wait to be able to preorder this been waiting so long i must have more.

I'm worried about this news. Will this mean the game will be restricted online? My fellow unofficial "guild" members are all US based, but I live in the UK. If I can't play with them, all my work will have been for nothing.
Honestly, I don't know why Sony hasn't for the US. Sure, it's not the greatest of games, but there are players for it. And seeing as they're doing this stupid online licence thing for the pre-owned market, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. ><</safety_wrapper> ;

Theres a reason sony wouldnt back it, nobody liked it in the states!
Sometimes I wish other companies would follow their example more often like EA and Activision, if one game fails then we dont need 4 more crappy games in the franchise to try and change our minds!

I've played the first and it was a "meh" game. Combat was too slow and unfair when I played (I played with a longsword), but I like the how you could customize your character and their class. The sequel could only be better than the first.
