This weekend, at WonderCon, Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb announced the casting for two of the companies most heavily-anticipated anime series, Iron Man and Wolverine, and heroes will be voiced by two Heroes you'll recognize. Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia, who played brothers Nathan and Peter Petrelli, respecively, on the NBC hit Heroes, will be playing the title roles in the two series.
Pasdar (Heroes, Castle, Profit) will lend his voice to the character of Tony Stark in Iron Man, an all-new series which sees Stark travel to Japan and battle the evil Zodiac Organization, and Ventimiglia (Gilmore Girls, Rocky Balboa, Heroes), takes on the title role in Wolverine, as Logan claws his way through Japan's criminal underworld.
"Adrian and Milo are perfect as Iron Man and Wolverine," said Loeb. "It's extremely exciting to see these talented guys take on two of the most iconic Super Hero roles of all time.”
As the exclusive US TV home for the series, G4 will air Iron Man and Wolverine, along with the Blade and X-Men anime series later this year. Attack of the Show aired an exclusive clip from Wolverine today, and you can see it right here.
Keep watching G4tv.com for more information about these Marvel anime series as we get closer to the exciting premiere!

I could've sworn that way back when they first announced this they said that they were gonna use the Japanese voice cast with subtitles.
Am I remembering wrong or did they change it along the way and I just never heard about it till now?

If the Wolverine anime is half as good as Trigun, then it will be awesome
zenmastersamuraimonk
god forbid they hire real voice actors, steve blum played wolverine once let him play him again.

Didn't both of these tank in Japan?
Maybe the newer X-Men anime will do alright but I think Marvel needs to realize that Japanese audiences are very different from Western ones.
Props to them for trying to expand comics to a largely untouched market though. It might even result in more variation in anime down the road. Probably not though, "It can't be helped."

I have seen both series with subs. The IRONMAN anime was well done with high production values, but I found it to be boring at times. The Wolverine anime was very cool. The action was non stop but the animation was poor at times. But overall I really enjoyed both these series. I can't wait to see them in English, and I will still buy both on Blu-Ray.

my opinion:
i will never accept anime as an art style, cuz stuff like this happens: generic anime guy,
THIS is NOT Wolverine
1990's X-men (the animated series) Wolverine is the only and original Wolverine
Bring on the hate, cuz haters gonna hate

Man the Japanese made Wolverine look way too feminine.
I don't get it, I know anime tends to produce a lot of feminine males; but I've seen a lot of masculine anime characters as well. Giving Wolvie the girly treatment just doesn't work.

Ive watched some of IronMan when it was released in Japan, and it was pretty good...i stopped watchin afta ep 5 or so tho. I never got around to wolverine tho sadly, but the X-Men anime just came out last week in Japan and should be pretty good.

I'm more than willing to give this a shot, but I'm wondering if Steve Blum was ever considered as Wlovy's voice... just used to hearing him, I guess, and he does a good job :)
Also, I cant put my finger on why, but the Anime Wolverine reminds me of Vash from Trigun O_o
