Australian retailer GAME has seemingly revealed the next Black Ops map-pack: "Escalation." According to a flyer the company reportedly posted on the company's site (and later removed), "Escalation" will consist of five maps and will be released on May 3. Here are the brief descriptions of the maps that will be available (if this turns out to be true, of course)
- Seize the Zoo
- Take the Hotel
- Secure the Convoy
- Raid the Stockpile
- Survive Call of the Dead.
It looks like four "regular" maps and one zombie map. According to the flyer, the map pack will be for the Xbox 360 before a PS3 and PC version is released.
We'll let you know whether this turns out to be true... but it seems pretty legit to me.

This seems fake to me. Sounds like just another idiot wanting his name all over the internet. BO is good, it's pretty balanced for a COD game. MW2 was just horrible and the sad part is people actually liked that game, I bet they never played the others before that. It's sad when people say MW2 is the best COD game. In my opinion that was the worst. The only reason it sold so much was the hype from COD4 backing it. More kids play Halo and COD then anything else, thats why so many people trash talk. I wish there was an adult setting where you had to type in you're ID to get kids already muted, allowed you to actually play the games where you need to be 17 and up to buy them and maybe IDK porn? I will buy this map pack do to the single fact that WaW had great multiplayer maps and they keep on banning hackers and resetting them. At least 3arc keeps on top of there games unlike IW. COD needs to go back to COD4 in my opinion, it had everything. Great story, fair balanced multiplayer, the only thing that would have made that game have my babies (and I'm a dude) is if it had more map packs. It's called upgrading COD not downgrading.

I always found that there's nothing wrong with COD. It's just the people that play it. For example, I can't get into 3 straight games of COD4, WaW, or MW2 without a hacker being in my game. And with Black Ops I have only seen a few crazy things like people flying through the air. And seeing how B.O. is the best selling COD yet, it means there is a lot more people (usually kids) who's whole purpose of playing the game seems to be annoying everyone else in the lobby. I'm not saying everyone that plays COD is stupid. Most of my friends on Xbox i met in COD. But I have noticed that in other games like Bad Company 2 and Gears of War, the players tend to be more into having a fun time with each other and not being a bunch of idiots

I hope there are more live animals in the zoo, not just monkeys. I know its probably asking too much, but an escaped tiger that roams around the zoo killing unsuspecting campers would be great.

I would like to see an objective zombie mode. Im kina getting sick of just trying to last as long as possible. I mean it is fun, dont get me wrong, but they need to try and do something different with zombies. Like just having zombie missions would be cool.

I'm playing Bad Company 2, MAG, and Medal of Honor. Some Rock Band and Dead Rising 2 on the side. Even some Grand Theft Auto 4 every now and then. Also re-playing Resistance:FOM and Resistance 2.

COD isnt dead theres still 600,000-800,000 people online playing every night on both PS3 and 360 yes i have both consoles and play it on both consoles it is by no means dead

I couldn't careless about new maps other than a new zombie map. I'll gladly pay $15 for just the zombie map since I'll easily get at least 20 hours of gameplay out of that. TBH I only played the First Strike mp maps maybe twice a piece before I went back to Ascension.

Sorry i bought the first map pack, played it for a few weeks and then havent touched the game since... except for a few rounds of zombies when my friends ask, but COD is dead... let it go or make it better Activision

I bought First Strike, played BLOPS for about a week and I haven't touched it since. I have no want or desire to play it. I was getting a little tired of the horrible collision technology. How can I pump a guy in the upper torso with 6 rounds and he doesn't fall, yet someone can hit him with a shot from a pistol in the foot and I instantly die???
Plus compared to IW maps, Trey's maps are boring and not well thought out. They feel like a PC programmer developed the maps. IW's maps feel like a creative designer laid them out.
