Today is the first day of April, and with that comes the warning of April Fools Day. That may have been the last genuine sentence you read all day as the entire world will be trying to trick you. For some reason I always get pranked with toothpaste. Once there was toothpaste in my coffee and another time someone put salt in my toothpaste. Leave my minty fresh breathe out of this people!
What was the best prank you've ever pulled? How about what's the most embarrassing prank someone has played on you?

The best trick I've pulled, online at least, was at my forum. It's a fan forum for Ayumi Hamasaki, and I used the word censor to miss-spell her name. ^_^ So you'd type it, and it's right, but then you view it and it's wrong. I did that with a few other common words, too. It was a good chuckle.

well best prank to me was when we hooked up the teachers metal chair via wrapping two wires around it and pushing the wires in the electrical socket. teacher came in and went to pull out the chair from under the desk and got quite the shock of his life.

I taught a friend how to polish arm wrestle. I made him set up for arm wrestling like normal, but instead keeping his hand open I had him make a fist which I covered w/ my hand. Then I told him to try to pull his hand out of my grasp before I forced his fist down to the table.
I waited till that spark of realization lit in his eyes that if he won, or I let go he'd knocked out when he punched himself in the face..... then I let go :)
He knocked himself backward out of his chair trying not to punch himself in the face.

Wow, I have quite a few, not sure which one to share.
I got it narrowed down to 2:
A coworker had walked away from her desk and left her computer unlocked, on April Fool's Day no less! So I couldn't resist. I went to her PC and first took a screenshot of her desktop as it was, then set that screenshot as the background. Then, I removed all the icons from her PC and removed her taskbar, but with the wallpaper it looked like it was still there. Then, I flipped the settings on the monitor to show everything upside down. Somewhat simple, yet was quite hilarious when she came back, clicking on icons that didn't exist & not being able to figure out why :-).
The other one was also at work, but was thoroughly planned. For about a year (same place), I would off and on place random fliers in a coworkers mailbox (basically a filing cabinet) that gave various warnings such as "The Frogs Are Coming", "Beware of The Frogs", and so forth. Once April Fool's rolled around, she went on lunch, and I preceded to take out a bag full of tiny plastic frogs and medium sized squeakable frogs (yes, squeakable) and filled her entire desk with them. I also bought some fake green and blue grass, and made a nice-sized pond on her keyboard for their new home.
Ok, got one more. Another computer prank. I was at my friends house, and he had stepped out for a bit and, of course, left his computer unlocked. So, I went in and took all of his files, and preceded to start moving them into different folders. I created a master folder, with sub-folders 1, 2, and 3. Each sub-folder had 3 more sub-folders 1, 2, and 3. Each of those had more sub-folders (and so on and so on). Thankfully he wasn't aware of the search function in Windows, which made this prank even more fun. Then of course I changed all his sounds to different sayings by GIR from Invader Zim!

I once created a scenario for a coworker (who was known for putting his foot in his mouth) where someone complained to HR about something he said and that he had to complete a course to get the complaint lifted. I made up official letters and everything. We even made up a fake person in HR to sign all the paperwork.
It was hilarious to watch him run around the office (everyone else was in on it, including his manager) asking all the women to see who complained about him. This went on for about half a day until his manager heard him trying to call HR about the letter and had to put an end to it.
Needless to say, it made for one hell of a day at the office. LOL

This comes way of a friend, while not April fools it was a great story.
While at college, he was living on campus on the top floor of the dorms (5th floor) well his roomate had a pumpkin/jack o' lantern for halloween, My friend was in his room playing his N64 w/ a friend (also a dormer) and when his roommate came in drunk he accidentally kicked the pumpkin, and got pissed... he goes over to the window opens it up, takes the pumpkin and chucks it out the window.
5 stories down... plus a loading bay, so 6 total, and the design of the building was a horseshoe... so this thing sounded like a bomb going off when it hit... well they shut their lights off and shortly after they hear a pounding on their door and someone saying "We know it was you..." they look out the window... they realized they were the only room with no lights on...

Mine wasn't even a real prank, I got wasted and took a $100 dollar bet that I wouldn't get my nipples pierced, I did it. The next day was April 1st and I tried telling my mom, she wouldn't beliive me and laughed it off as an April fools joke. After that I just pulled my shirt up to show her, she freaked out, hyperventalated and barffed all over the room. It was F'N awesome !
