Morning Hangover: Video Game Shoes Today we will talk about shoes. Why? Because I like shoes and I'm in charge. I'm not the only one who sees the value in fabulous footwear. There are tons of video game characters who rely on their shoes to get them through levels and through life. Here are my favorite video game shoes, what are yours?

What about the frog suit from SMB3, sure it was a suit but Mario's feet were covered in frog flippers

What about Link's Iron Boots? Sure they were slow and clunky, but it was really cool walking on walls and ceilings. I can almost hear Lionel Ritchie singing "Dancing on the Ceiling" now...

Actually High Jump boots in Metroid especially in Return of Samus on GB and Super Metroid.

Sprint Boots from FF3 on SNES were quite important. Don't think your needed them in the GBA port though.

I love the Goomba Shoe power up. Probably my favorite.... Not sure why...

I got to go with the Pegasus Boots.

I never understood though the Boot from SMB3... it was only in 1 level and it was never used again... yeah it was cool looking, but it wasn't that great of a powerup, the best thing it was good for was walking over the metal piranha flowers.
