Resistance 3 will have PlayStation Move support. Gamers have been enjoying the PlayStation Move with Killzone 3 and SOCOM 4's multiplayer beta, so Sony decided to let Resistance fans get in on the Move and the Sony Sharpshooter too. The news was confirmed today during Insomniac's 3rd Annual Community Day. Fans at the event were able to get some hands-on time with both Resistance 3 and Ratchet And Clank: All 4 One.
Members of the G4 team are at the event and we'll have all of our Insomniac Community Day Coverage up tomorrow.
Resistance 3 will be available on September 6 exclusively for the PS3.

Woot. Despite all of the move haters, I love how it works with shooters. Killzone 3 was a great implementation, and I expect resistance 3 to build on that.

i thought resistance 3 was already released. looks like a good game tho. never heard any one talk about it tho. dont even know anyone that owns it XD which is suprising since its been around since the beginning of the PS3. or close the beginning at least not really sure on that one.

i dont mind if they make games that support with move and 3D and everything, as long as those of us who dont use those dont suffer. i have no plans on ever getting a Move or a 3D tv, so ill be playing these games with a controller, and as long as im gettting the same quality of game, them im all set. im not saying just for Resistance because i trust in Isomniac, but for future games as well.

I'm hoping to see another excellent Kevin Butler commercial with the sharpshooter and a big push for Resistance 3!

I'm glad these games are getting move support cause as a pc gamer as well as a ps3 gamer the move is the closest thing to a mouse on a console :) but i hope they allow you to lock the cursor. -_-

This is great news. The number of triple A video games that are PS Move compatible just keeps climbing. I can't wait to purchase the PS Move it's a really awesome controller and can't wait to get it.

I have move and the sharpshooter and i am happy to see more of this taking place, i have socom on pre and can't wait to see/hear impressions on this game with move, Effin sweet!

i said if before, and i will say it again. sony is the king of kings. i have kz3, pre-order socom 4, and 4 move controllers, 2 navs, and a sharpshooter to go along with my samsung LED 3D t.v. 55inch i can't wait for resistance 3 hope they are smart too and make it in 3D! the sharpshooter is sick, and very responsive i play sometimes in the dark in my rec room and amazed how it still has no, i mean NO lag! thank you insominac for adding sharpshooter and move support i was hoping it would be added now don't let me down and add 3D!

I like how G4 completely ignores the 3D part when it was released in the same announcement. Why does G4 hate 3D so much?

Nice, very excited to hear this is officially confirmed. I'll go pre-order Resistance 3 tomorrow, then. After Killzone 3 and DS: Extraction with the Move + Sharpshooter, I can't wait to see more PS3 FPS games take advantage of the opportunity to bring a fun new control scheme to the game.

Yes, great news as now FPS's aren't completely useless on consoles. It's a shame that awful, poorly selling Kinect will never work with shooters... Lol. Let's see what the kiddies have to say about that.

I own Move controllers And while I don't play FPS I applaud them for continuing to support Move. Not only are they bringing out a few more new games but the are adding support to hardcore games as well. Bravo Sony.
Now if only MS would step up to the plate and release some decent content for Kinects. I use it way more than Move and Wii so I'd like to see some hardcore games for it. Not in a rush as I still have things to do on the Kinects, but it would be nice to know what games I can expect in the future.
