Gabe Newell: Half-Life 2: Episode 3 E3 Teaser Image

In a recent interview with AusGamers, Valve marketing and PR chief Doug Lombardi let it slip that Valve is, "not done with Gordon Freeman’s adventures." He didn't have anything else to mention about the game except to ask fans to keep hanging in there.

The genre changing Half-Life in 1998 and its sequel Half-Life 2 in 2004 were both announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, so maybe Valve is choosing that as their venue to announce a new Gordan Freeman adventure, perhaps Half-Life 2: Episode 3. We can only hope it's soon, as it's going on four and half years now without a new game in a time where sequels are extremely popular.
