According to UK game magazine PSM3, an announcement is coming in April. Activision may be planning to reveal Modern Warfare 3. There's no solid info on the game, but PSM3 speculated like this:
"Based on the ending of MW2, we'd be surprised if the story doesn't pick up with Soap and Price on the run, after they were set up by General Shepard."
There's no way of knowing right now whether this rumor is true or not, so take it however you want. We'll be further looking into this game (that doesn't officially exist) in the upcoming months.

hey maybe they won't make the next installment so noob friendly and they'll do a beta so there are a ton of glitches for the first year and beyond. Wait a second, noobs pay the bills and the game will sell like crazy regardless of there being a beta or not. So if they're planning on releasing another 6 hr campaign that is hardly interesting enough to play for any reason other than achievements and a multiplayer experience that is almost unplayable due to the community and the community's ability to play like complete jackwagons, count me out this round too. As others said Battlefield 3 looks sick, but fps war games have almost become like the music games, just EA and Activision putting out the same stuff over and over. If you already have one just play that one.

But yeah I'm done with them. I'm enjoying the hell out of black ops but infinity ward lost almost their whole staff and i predict it will be just a re-hash of all the other COD's. Black Ops didn't do much with single player but it has a lot better Multiplayer. MW3 will be same crap different day. Oh well.

@penutmanak As much as I'd like to believe that Battlefield 3 will kill Call of Duty [whatever] this year (and believe me, I've even said it in the forum) I don't think it will, though I do think it will take a large chunk out of its fanbase. Mainly because the same idiots who call themselves gamers (namingly the idiots being 15-16 yr. old douchebags) buy this every year, even if it's terrible, and they defend it. They call themselves gamers, and this is all they play, and it annoys the hell out of me. Even people in my age group do this (19-20), and it annoys me. It's like there are better games than this, and Battlefield 3 certainly looks better than anything COD's done recently, but instead of giving the other games the attention they deserve, to them it's just, hey, when the next Call of Duty coming. It's something that's sad, and needs to change.
