I've avoided the iPad frenzy up until now, mostly because I have an iPhone (albeit, an old one) and a Macbook. Why on earth would I need an iPad? After all, I can do everything I need to do on the existing platforms I have, and how lazy do I have to be to not just go pick up one of those two things, or even flip a console on to play something? Forget you, iPad.
At least, that's what I thought until last week when I picked up Sword & Sworcery EP and played it on a borrowed iPad. It's not really the type of game that can be explained in a single line of text. Instead, you really need to experience it in order to understand it. Here's fifteen minutes worth of wondrous gameplay and audio that will kick your retro-gaming gene square in the crotch and make you crave an iPad with every fiber of your being.
