They said it wouldn't happen, but it has happened: Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed from early May until June 14. This marks the 895th delay announcement in the 15 year Duke Nukem Forever development cycle.
Duke's developer, Gearbox Software, is looking on the bright side of this situation, proclaiming it the shortest delay in the history of the game. Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox, created the below hilarious video explanation of the delay:
