Two Resident Evil games from past console generations will be getting the HD treatment. Capcom is working on Biohazard: Revival Selection, it will include Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Biohazard is what the Resident Evil series is called in Japan. Screens for the game appeared in this week's issue of Famitsu. The collection will be released on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Japan.
Resident Evil 4 was released in 2005 and it starred the hottie Leon Kennedy. I think he's hot okay. The collection will also include Resident Evil 4's "Separate Ways" side story called "The Another Order" featuring Ada Wong. Resident Evil: Code Veronica came out back in 2000, it focused on Chris and Claire Redfield. We don't know much about the collection itself as far as release date and price but we do know both games will have high-definition graphics. As of now Resident Evil: Revival Selection is only confirmed for Japan, but an American release is more than likely.

I'm all for this. I grabbed the game cheap for PC a while ago. I went to play it and was surprised not to find mouse support. It'll be nice to use the 360's, or PS3's if that's your system, analog stick to finally be able to aim for headshots! I really want to get into the game because I've heard a lot about the pacing and such but the horrible PC port just didn't do it for me.

I would not mind seeing an HD remake of RE4 and CV. However, I would hope that the combo pack for PS3 and XBOX360 is no more than $30. In addition, I would not mind seeing a new Outbreak game. As far as online community and technology has come, I think a new Outbreak game would bring in good numbers for Capcom. Otherwise, I sure do hope they make just one more Resident Evil game that can proceed RE5's storyline. And if such game does come out, let us hope this time they have H.U.N.K in there. Was anyone else slightly disappointed that he was not in RE5?

I have RE4 premium edition for the PS2 and RE CV on my Dreamcast. Both great games and I would seriously buy the collection if they added more content and charged less than the standard price. (For me, an HD upgrade and achievements aren't enough to warrant a purchase.)

OMFG I am a huge fan of RE4. Played it on PC, gamecube, and Wii. Obviously I will play it on the 360. Never played Code Veronica though...

sweet, hopefully they update the game play as well as the graphics.

I think it would be sweet to play resident evil 4 on 360. It's one of the greatest games I ever played. Now we get it in hd and with achievements. This is just a thought but I think they may add a mercenaries online mode. It would only make sense with xbox live and would be a great reason to warrant purchasing the game again and make it a fresh experience.

a lot of 360 owners will be glad to hear this..

all I hope is that the game is 20$ cause I will not pay more that that for a game I had on the ps2 >.>

I'd rather have REGC like remakes of RE2,3 and Veronica......
still would be nice if they tossed in REGC and RE:0 into the HD collection....
hmm....will the ps3 version of RE4HD include Move Support? they already adapted the controls for RE5gold...and the Wii version of RE4 is "technically" the best version....so why not?

While this is good news I also agree with 9000 that I would rather have RE2 in HD first.

Want! Code Veronica was my favorite RE game.

.... as if re4 needs a hd treatment. it has too many ports already! leave re4 out of the equation and re-do some games that people actually want (2,3,CV, or even the outbreak series)!
