Doodle Jump has been announced for Kinect by the game's developer and publisher Lima Sky. Doodle Jump is a popular platforming game available for download in the App Store and Android Marketplace. Since its release in 2009 it has been downloaded 10 million times.
A port of the popular mobile version is heading to Xbox Live Arcade and will be Kinect compatible. We don't know how gamers will play Doodle Jump with the Kinect yet. The mobile version is played by tilting the mobile device. I imagine the same type of gameplay will apply, just substitute the phone with your body.
A price point or release date have not announced. Doodle Jump is currently $0.99 in the App Store.

I hate that I-pod touch games are moving to consoles. It's stupid as hell.

I love the amount of hate that comes from PS3 fanboys whenever any news from the Kinnect or anything Xbox exclusive related is announced. But if this very same game was announced for the PS3, it would be treated as if it was such an awesome announcement. LOL

I find it interesting that Kinect is getting phone app ports, it makes me wonder how much the game will cost.
I looked up Doodle Jump and the controls will most likely be based on how you tilt in front of the camera .And if you can shoot, you'll aim with your arms.

I thought the Wii and the eye toy were the beginning of endless family games. Well the Wii, the eyetoy died a quick death unlike the Guinness Book of Records holder Kinect.
10,000,000 Kinects multiplied by $150 each, $1,500,000,000, now that's something to laugh about, all the way to the bank.

The start of endless family games. Kinect will amount to nothing. No controller equals no possibilities.
