The year is 2027 and North Korea has rise to become the most powerful country in the world creating the Greater Korean Republic. The United States has already been crippled by North Korea and the only way USA has a chance to live is to stand together and fight for freedom. To join the Resistance you must first watch the first 15 minutes of gameplay of THQ's Homefront to get a better understanding on how North Korea became the new empire of the world. After that, then you can start your freedom mission by leaving your comments below.

you are also forgetting that n' Korea's only way to transport troop & supplies is by boat and we have subs in that area 24/7 so i just ended the game in 15 sec.
also with how hard the Japaneses fought us for a sand barge in the middle of the ocean in ww2 I don't believe that n' Korea would last one battle with japan or s' Korea for that matter.

I think the point of the vid is why bother. When you're playing a great game you wanna win and you play well. When the game sucks who really cares. After the first 15 min just stop, story goes down hill from there. Just play the multiplayer. If you're considering buying it, just wait, it's not worth $50. At most it's worth $20. If you don't play online, don't waist your money. Instead buy Crysis 2 or Portal 2.

Whoever who was the one playing the game in the video is one of the worst FPS player I have ever seen. They didn't know how to use the analog sticks. It looked as if my mom was the one playing. Hey G4, whenever you do a gameplay video, have someone who knows how to use a controller do the video. An absolutely horrible video. This video actually pissed me off. Way to go G4, you never cease to amaze me.

i pre-ordered and i must say its worth $60 if your going to put a lot of time into multiplayer. I think the maps are the right size for my playing, bigger then cod and smaller than battlefield

Its a shame the game is so mediocre, I can't decide to get it or not. I mean, the MP seemed really good, and that Single Player looks very fun too.
Can't get over the soldiers shooting the kid's parents in front of him... Creepy, but an excellent touch.

THE GAME IS A BOMB! One of the worst games I have played in a long time. If you told me this game was 20 years in the making and you told me it was a launch title for XBOX (not the 360) I would then say OK great game..
Graphics are HORRIBLE and jagged. Game play for single player is BORING! THQ does it again with ANOTHER BOMB! Save your cash and dont even bother with the rental.. Bad bad bad

i bought this steaming turd all excited like , brought it home put it in played 31 minutes uttered the words WTF to my self popped it out called the store asked if they had any copies of it.
they said no only preorders so scratched the back ,returned it to the store asked for a new copy mine isn't working . they said we are all out which i knew and said oh man! i'll just take mt money then.

If you watch the video G4 has of the first 15 minutes of the game, the premise is ridiculous. In the game, America is in shambles and on the verge of civil war. A unified Korea would have nothing to gain from invading America, not to mention the epic mistake of spreading their force too thin to effectively control the US. There would be way too many pissed off gun owners here...

I'm guessing this game takes place in a parallel universe, where China don't exist, and one communist dictator is so charming, he was able to convince an entire democratic and civilized nation to unite, give up their rights and personal possession to convert over to so called communism, but actually military ruled dictatorship. And then magically occupies Japan without a fight, even though they are decades behind in technology, smaller in land space, less in population, and no where near the financial resources japan possess. All of this is happening while America sit on their ass and do nothing, and where China is located in our universe is just empty dust land in their world.
Interesting...Maybe I should rent it.
