This Week's Best of TheFeed

Okay, faithful TheFeed readers, let's hear what you think about the way TheFeed covers news. Is there some aspect of gaming you're into that we ignore? Something you particularly like about the way we work? Are we doing everything wrong? Are we doing everything right? Feedback, people, we want it!

SJ all you folks are doing fine, so keep up the good work.

Things I like. Always making little adjustment and making things better. Replying to our questions, big and small. Keeping spam and hate in check as best you can. Not thinking you are celebrities, like other IGNorant websites.

Things to improve. Get back on DirecTV and deliver an HD broadcast. More coverage of games other than Madden, Gears and Resistance, like what's up with Ride To Hell, Backbreaker 2, and the new Earth Defense Force game.

1st, Stay true to what you do, you are doing a great job.
2nd, Some of us have the ability to get which ever multiplatform version of the game we want, PS3, Xbox360, Wii. etc. I want to know which version of a game is better and why???.
    3rd, Weekend Coverage

First of all, as a game music fan, I've enjoyed your coverage of it. Stuff like the composer interviews and soundtrack samples are great to see.

Also, please do NOT let up on all the coverage for the various expos and such. The videos especially are highly interesting to watch and provide a look into things that you can't see anywhere else.

I would love to see Feedback extended to an hour or so. It and Weekend Confirmed are the only game podcasts I watch/listen but feedback is just over so quickly. Of course, I have no idea the time or money that it takes to do the show so it may just not be feasible, but I wanted to throw it out there nonetheless. I also miss Dana Vinson on there. I get she may not be as hardcore a gamer as others, but I find her thoughts on things interesting.

As for negatives, the one true fan thing is terrible but if it brings in revenue for you guys, I'll live with hitting the button a lot.

And, like Stephen Toulouse, Stephen Johnson should be referred to as Stepjo from now on.

Keep up the great work guys and gals.

I appreciate your extensive coverage of the panel discussions for each convention, but I'd appreciate a bit more commentary. I know you guys are attempting to play the neutral ground and present unbiased news, but short blips of opinion are welcome if they're meant to provoke further exploration of a topic. Personally, I would have liked to know that the first half hour of the the Women in Gaming panel for PAX East was going to be about the controversy surrounding Abbie Heppe's Metroid: Other M review. I loved the review and thought it to be incredibly accurate, but that debate isn't what I expected from this particular panel discussion.

Also, I don't know if anybody has this kind of weight in the world of gaming fandom or journalism, but I think we need some larger organizations placing pressure on HAL Laboratories, Nintendo, and Brownie Brown to release Mother 1-3 in the states. (/fanboy rant)

I've never had a problem with what you do now, but I'd like to see more coverage of foreign games and fringe titles like Catherine and Captain Blood.

I'm loving G4 and The Feed but I still can't reply to other comments(never have been able to) and I really dislike "The One True Fan" bar. I've tried the "hide OTF permanently" button at least 12 times and it still comes up every time the page loads.

Sad to see favorites of feedback leaving g4(Patrick, Andrew, Sterling, Abbie) but over all you guys keep up the good work. Sometimes you are slow to review games or post news. I have no major complaints, the ads are keep to a minimum and for the most part are bearable. My real only complaint is the video player sometimes doesn't feel like working (at least for me) and will cut off after a few minutes of playing.

If anything, you guys should implement a comment system similar to all the Gawker websites (namely Kotaku). That way us sane people won't be able to see the regular trolls that roam this site.

only fault i have with the site is a number of the posters are children and they act like it..and you let abbie be swept away by respawn..i could care less about feedback now as hard as i try to watch i cant finish a full episode..i dont care if she wanted a million dollar raise she should have got it..anyways..i do like the staff you have now though..everyones pretty cool..

When DICE or PAX and others events comes along, G4TV gets high jacked, and there is simply far too much coverage of these very boring events. Besides all the staff at G4TV, I bet there isn't 5% of your total reader base, that is actually interested in any portion of these very specialized gatherings.

That being said, we your subscribers base do suffer during these yearly occurring times, and usually have to go elsewhere, on more down to earth topics, and for more interesting and current video game related materials.

The staff at G4TV may enjoy these events, but for many of us ( just average game players ) it's really not very interesting in any degree or form what so ever. Whats presented in the G4TV articles that are posted, does not justify why the entire week on the " Feed ", has to be totally inundated and flooded with numerous mundane articles and reports from these type of events day after day until there finally over.

I'd would like to suggest, that G4TV should wait until the conclusion of these events, and then simply incorporate the contents of the entire week into one lengthy review and show it on " Feedback ", with video coverage for support on the truly important outstanding issues, and the most interesting topics that occurred during the event.

The only two gaming centric websites I visit are G4 and Gametrailers. I really enjoy the feed and G4 because it's a smaller community with great personalities. Gametrailers has some great personalities and content too, but I think their comment system should be simpler and more lightweight. There are a lot of trolls at GT as well.

If it weren't for the feed I wouldn't have seen the Dead Island trailer the day it came out because GT never posted it.

Thank you for limiting the amount of ads that get played when I click on a video. Almost every other website in existence plays an ad before the video. You guys really keep that to a minimum and I thank you for it. I also got to thank you for posting just about everything that you air on television (X-play, AOTS, Expo coverage) online. Online is the only way I can enjoy that stuff as DirectTV no long carries G4.

I would like better weekend coverage, but that may be asking for too much. Coverage during the week is pretty good as far as I know... Much love to the interweb Feed
