The Verdict: BioShock 2 – “Protector Trials” DLC

BioShock 2 for the PC is getting free DLC today. The pack is called "The Protector Trials" and was previously released for the consoles in August for $5. 2K originally had said the DLC would not make it to the PC but has since changed their minds. "Minerva's Den" DLC has yet to receive a PC release date although 2K did confirm it would be heading to the PC. Along with the DLC a patch will also be issued, details after the break.

Patch Notes

  • Fixed unlocalized text in Customize Controls screen.
  • Player mouse functionality no longer drops out when the Video Card Driver Warning appears.
  • User.ini no longer overwritten when game loads. This should address mouse sensitivity issues as well as many v-sync option bugs.
