Games used to be, by-and-large, a man's game, whether it was the players or the developers, but all that's been changing more and more lately. Women are not only getting more into playing games, they're getting more into making them as well, but being a female in the game industry presents unique challenges. See what I mean in this interesting, enlightening panel from PAX East 2011: "The Other 'Us:' Gender in Gaming"
