I'm afraid the The Morning Hangover refers to actual hangovers for a lot of the gaming world. PAX is over, and a lot of people are, shall we say, "recovering." I didn't go, so I feel great. I spent the weekend playing a Game That Must Not Be Named because it isn't out yet... although if you watch Feedback this week, you'll know.
So, if you went to PAX, what was the coolest part? If you didn't, what did you play this weekend?

I'd have to say the biggest highlight of the weekend was the Saturday night concert with the Video Game Orchestra (VGO), Paul & Storm, and Jonathan Coulton. Many lulz were had. One of my favorite moments in the concert was when JoCo was performing Skullcrusher Mountain, and the entire audience was singing along. It was nothing short of BEAUTIFUL.
Other highlights include:
-Meeting Major Nelson (Larry Hyrb of Xbox LIVE Operations) and being so starstruck that I didn't know what to say after 'Hi."
-Meeting Geoff and Griffon Ramsey of Rooster Teeth at their booth.
-Walking past Morgan Webb and the X-Play staffers on the show floor. I would have said hello, but didn't on a count of Morgan is just that amazing and they seemed pretty absorbed in everything around them.
-Playing Gears of War 3's Team Deathmatch. Retro Lancer + Sawed-Off Shotgun. For. The. Win.
-"San Dimas High-School Football RULES!"
Definitely going again next year. Hopefully I'll work up the courage to actually talk to people by then!

I was an Enforcer this year, so sadly, I didn't really get to see anything but the panels that happened in my theater, and even then I didn't get to see al of a single panel except the Telltale Poker Night panel, which was FANTASTIC.

My favorite part was just spending time with friends that haven't hung out as a collective unit in 5-6 years.
But as far as an actual thing at PAX that was my favorite? The final round of the Omegathon, with 4000+ people all collectively cheering for a pretty intense round of Ikaruga.
Least favorite: The 3DS (the system's a graphical powerhouse, but the 3D effect is throw-away), The Udon booth and Oni Press booth being next to each other (spent $120 in 90 seconds), and not getting candy from Stephen Johnson.

My favorite part of the expo was seeing Morgan Webb. I remember watching Extended Play back in the day ( I was a teen then) and I had a crush on her. So seeing her in the flesh made the entire trip worth while.

I loved PAX East. I dont know what my favorite thing was but Child of Eden, Fear 3, and the 3DS were great. there were many other great things but its not my job to list them all. I wish i was still there!

Im strait from the Bay, went to Santana Row had a few drinks with friends and watched late late show of Battle of LA . It was ok I give it 3 stars. Just the story line was bad, too many questions.

Best part for me was the candid sightings of the X-Play Team throughout the conference!

The coolest part was definitely attending Feedback and Xplay Live; It was fun to see the interactions between Adam, Blair, and Morgan during the commercial breaks, on stage

I think my favorite moment besides talking to abbie heppe about the middle east and matt kiel signing my shirt where no one could see would definitely have to be the battlefield 3 demo. It was super polished and in my opinion it was the "one to beat". Which no other game came close to, but all in all it was a great three days. The feedback panel and live x-play taping was pretty awesome too. I didn't get a chance to go to 1ups party but I heard it was pretty good. I hope g4 is there next year because no community event is complete without you guys.
