PlayStation 3

The next firmware update for the PlayStation 3 adds something awesome to the video game lifestyles of PlayStation Plus users: Cloud save-games. Every Plus account will receive 150MB of external storage space, so you'll be able to backup games on distant servers as well as your own harddrive.

Not only is this a way to save HD space, it's potentially a safer way to save games -- you won't have to worry about hardware failure -- and also a huge step forward for convenience. You'll be able to access your cloud-saved games from any PlayStation 3 machine you're logged into, so if you go to your pal's house and want to show off the last level in Uncharted 2, you'll be able to get on the cloud and get your save.

Accurately or not, the common conception among gamers is that the 360 has the superior online service of any system, although, incrementally but consistently, the PlayStation Network is adding features and content that are giving Microsoft a serious run for its online money. What do you guys think? Awesome or what?
