The vid, from GDC 2011, shows off the next iteration of the Epic's Unreal 3 Engine, the technology that will no doubt power many of the games you'll play in the upcoming years.

Looks great. Looks like they toned down the bloom a bit. Seems like this would be hard put on current gen consoles, and if they did, you would probably have to wait several minutes for the bump mapped textures to load in.

Ok , that was amazing! Like many have said , I wish "Samaritan" was slated to be a real game. Great way to demo the new Unreal engine but , man , thats evil to leave us hooked like fish to a fake game. Evil I say!!!

The tech, while not surprising that it's come this far so quickly, is awesome; however, that said, I'm more interested in what should be a game that goes hand in hand with this tech demo. Why go through the enormous amount of work just to get this far? Clearly, there's interest. Perhaps Epic will realize that and follow through on our outcry for what could be an awesome game.
Then again... them passing this off as merely a tech demo just to gauge gamer interest would be rather savvy...

This is one of thee-most impressive demonstrations I have seen in a while, and though it's impressive as it is, it's sad to see that there are still some people trying to pick this bad boy apart. I am not against hating crap, but who could watch this video and not nerd-gasm all over the places. I might need new nuts lOlz!

Its not even real gameplay, nothing impressive at all. Show me that in a game and show it with out it having texture popups, glitchy physics, and many other bugs like the current unreal engine then i will be impressed but until then ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz
