GDC is now behind us, but PAX East looms large this coming weekend. If you aren't going to be in Boston braving the cold and seeking out new games and geekery galore, then you'll probably be bundled up warm and snug playing Dragon Age 2 or trying to catch all of the Pokemons in Pokemon Black or Pokemon White. Either way, one thing that will help make your week complete is a full and heaping serving of Feedback.
But as with every episode, we want your input! Ask us the questions you need to know about gaming, and we'll get you answers. Want to know about PAX East? Inquiring about Dragon Age 2? Wondering what games on the horizon are going to be worth checking out? Which ones you'll want to ditch? Why shouldn't sore thumbs from button-mashing be covered by insurance? Anything you want to know, ask away.

Why will my question not post? It keeps saying that I am not allowed to use profanity and yet I am not using any?

Both Xbox and Playstation have attempted to add longevity to their systems through downloads and external extensions such as Kinect and Move. Kinect and Move have the potential to add two years onto their respective systems, so lets say we are two years away from seeing new systems. This begs the question, what do you want out of these new systems? Can we expect to see external devices like Kinect and Move come standard, blue-ray for the Xbox.
I ask this because I wonder what the real possibility of seeing keyboards, mice, and internet browsers. Will we be able to play games like Starcraft and Diablo, or perhaps MMOs like Warcraft or the Old Republic, even browser and facebook games, on these new consoles? The option to use a keyboard and mouse in FPS would be a nice option and throwback for some of us. Dragon Age is a superior game on the PC because of the freedom of the keyboard and mouse when it comes to movement and use of powers. I imagine consoles having the power to operate complex games like these and these has obviously been a push by these companies to be THE device in the living rooms of families. You practically have to be online to play games anyways.
Or is this a leap consoles won't make? It'll be like having a family desktop in the living room again.

What games are looking good for the year of 2011? Is this the year for Half Life 2: Episode 3? and finally: What are each of you reviewers top 5 outlook games of this coming year?

I've been wondering this for a while, the game Enslaved has been selling poorly not only here, but also around the world. What do you think the game did wrong to make itself unappealing to most of the general public? I mean I'm not a professional game critic like Adam Sessler, but personally I thought it was a good game and I enjoyed it very much.

I recently purchased AC:Brotherhood, I had been of the mind set that this game was just a way for Ubisoft to milk more money out of their new franchise. After renting it and getting five hours in I realized just how expansive and deep it actually was. It was everything the second one should have been and was well worth another game with Ezio. Where you surprised with how deep AC:B was with only a year development and have there been any other games that shocked you with the depth and content of a sequel?

What was the one thing that surprised/shocked/pleased you about the presentations/content of this year's GDC? Are there any nuggets that gamers NEED to know about that we might not have heard through "the usual channels"?

Rumors of microsoft's new console are already floating around, the time between the original xbox and the 360 was 5 years and the 360 will have been out for 6 years this fall. But there is still alot of functionality left in the current model. Is it too soon for a new xbox in the next two years or so?

I noticed that your reviews on multiplatform games that it's usually focused on the one platform. I came to this conclusion because most of the time there's no information on the differences on the other platforms that the game is also available on. I know that it's not on purpose but I need to know why the reviewing staff cannot review multiplatform games for all systems, particularly on the PC, PS3 and XBox 360?

With the massive amounts of money being made off of free to play games, why do you think Sony and Microsoft haven't released any on their systems to capitalize on this growing phenomenon? Do you think that this generation of consoles have the tools needed for Sony and Microsoft to succeed in free to play games?

To FeedBack:
As most gamers can sniff out a ripoff game when they see one. I am surprised that I haven't smelled a Mass Effect 2 ripoff. This was voted by the developer community as the best game of 2010, (also by X-play, who's the higher authority?). However the presentation and story structure wasn't completly new. Mass Effect introuduced the dialouge structure and the idea that you don't pick lines of dialouge, you pick motivations and intentions and ideas. Are there newer RPG's that are using this format now. I watch a lot of X-play and G4tv.com and I haven't seen them.
This also leads me to revisit a topic Feedback brought up a couple weeks ago. When thinking about making a game for the Walking Dead. Wouldn't the Mass Effect 1 or 2 game engine and story setup make the best way to make this game. Since you said that Walking Dead is more about characters then action. Then it seem logical to use a game setup to tell this story, while including some great action scenes. Think about in Mass Effect when you fight the Husks. Change the setting and your Commander Sheppard can be Sheriff Shepperd, leading a band of survivors to salvation, or death.
Also I think you guys at Feedback should make mention of Extra Credits on The Escapist Magazine. They had a great episode on the FAILS of EA's Marketing which I think your viewers should all see. 2 Great weekly Webcasts deserve each other.

I am right now on what is probably my 8th or 9th attempt at Dragon Age Origins:Ultimate Edition. For the most part, even though my character is sometimes a different race or gender I find myself doing just about the same thing for each play-through trying so hard to either recreate that feeling of the first time playing a new game or trying to achieve that perfect play-through or my version of it. I tend to have my character and by extension myself become that nice-guy hero or at least the hero who occasionally is a dick to the other characters in the game but still will try to get the "good" ending.
My question then is: Do you ever find yourself reluctant to go against the type of character you like to play and if so why and which game did you find this the most apparent?

With the God of war and the sly collection out and the tomb raider and the team ICO collectionon the horizon, its makes me wonder do these games even stand a chance in the market if they were released today?

What will you guys be spending / already spent your TAX return money on? (that's to hoping you are getting a little something back) Looking at the brand new TV? Upgrading your phone? the next handheld gaming device? Or 10 million microsoft points? Let us know!

This past week at GDC, David Cage talked about how games need to become more meaningful, which would involve letting writers take the reigns and craft a story that will guide the game instead of gameplay mechanics. He said "we can make games about love, fear, homosexuality, handicapped people, politics, and more. We need to create more meaningful experiences; that s where the value will come from." Considering the apparent success of Heavy Rain, so you see these kinds of stories making their way into games any time soon? How do you believe that games like these will play? Will they be unique and innovative experiences or "Heavy Rain: The King's Speech"?

So this weekend will be my first time at PAX, or any video game convention for that matter. Any advice on how to get the most out of the experience?
