Call it coattailing, leapfrogging, or quite simply a blatant ripoff, but the countdown timer has finally expired on FindMakarov.com, and the project has been revealed (as we learned earlier) to be a live-action film project based on Modern Warfare. If you've ever wanted to see some of the events and cutscenes of Activision's FPS brought to life, then this is the moment you've been waiting for.
Even after the grandstanding and the near-apparent hoax (and the entire devouring of the internet gaming community who initially thought this was a Modern Warfare 3 reveal), this footage actually looks fairly impressive. Could Hollywood pull off a video game film adaptation like this, without wanting to recast the entire thing with Bruce Willis and Justin Bieber? FindMakarov's site appears to be hosed, most likely due to everyone trying to load it up right now, but you can watch the HD video above and decide for yourself.
